Kapitel 71: Avengers Vs Kree Soldiers – 2

------Operations Room-----

Fury was watching the battle happening outside their command room. This was the first battle between Avengers and Aliens and it was the first time he can watch the fighting abilities of his team. So far, the battle is tilted towards the Kree Soldiers.

"Gordon, it's time for you to move." Fury gave a go-ahead command to Gordon who picked a new small vibranium blade that he was given as his weapon.

Gordon nodded and disappeared from his spot.

"Martha lock on all the Kree Soldiers. Gather all data on their movements and weapons. Make sure you record everything."

"I am also going!" Yelena declared to Fury and grabbed her batons. Mat and Natt were also geared up to fight but Fury just tilted his head sideways and his eyebrow moved slightly.

"Remind me, who am I and what position do I hold?" He asked slowly and his figure standing in front of the screen was looking like a giant to the kids.

"You are the operations head here Mr. Fury." Matt replied trying to defuse the situation.

"Yes. And that should explain everything. You are not to fight in this battle. These are not your regular New York gangsters or street-level thugs that you fight. These aliens are trained soldiers and their body physique is even more powerful than a super-soldier. Plus, they are not hesitant about a suicide bombing.

Do you understand what this means? This means this is a suicide squad that has enough training and strength to take you out in less than 10 moves. You won't return alive if situations get worse and you will end up being a distraction on the battlefield.

So, sit your ass down!"

Fury spoke the last sentence loudly and Yelena and others hated the fact that everything he said was true. It was just looking at the screen where their parents and elders were fighting and getting injured, they feel the urge to jump and slaughter these green bastards.

------Battlefield------

Master Mordo used his spells and tied four Kree soldiers at the same time. Then Singularity suddenly appeared on the battlefield and killed these men in an instant. Before Singularity could feel happy, Melina fired a sniper shot from the top of the nearest building and it hit one of the Kree soldiers in his eyes. This guy was trying to attack Master Mordo in a sneak attack and had dozen of strange bombs in his hands.

The bombs fell from his grip, and it was like a space suction was activated. Singularity used her space powers to contain the ruptured space in this area and tried to eliminate it before it can create a wormhole.

The energy released with this space fracture was massive and it was only because Singularity was present that Avengers avoided the near destruction of the entire Base. Master Mordo also hurriedly used other spells and create multiple portals around the fractured space and released all the energy to an unknown plane.

While these two were busy dealing with this accident, Phil was busy slaughtering the other Kree soldiers. His power was too destructive to fight on his own base. If he releases more strength, then the aftereffects of the attack will also damage the nearby knights or other friendly forces.

This was the first time he was fighting a battle where he had to fight with extreme precision. Any less and Kree Soldiers will not be hurt, any more and Kree soldiers will die but it will hurt the friendly forces.

It took a few more minutes but once Singularity was done with the space fracture, she flew up and then looked at the two Kree soldiers. She moved her hand and their souls were sucked inside her. Similarly, Master Mordo simply created a portal below the feet of another Kree and then closed it halfway cutting the Kree in half and killing him.

The battle was almost over. Only three Kree soldiers were alive and even they were badly bruised and hurt.

However, the Avengers were not happy at this scene. It was because they knew these bastards had strange weapons that can create space fractures and even create explosions that always need multiple sorcerers to control.

These three were pushed to the center of the battlefield and knowing they were going to lose this battle, they decided to create the biggest possible damage they can.

All of them suddenly took out the same space bombs and pulled their pins and threw them randomly.

Master Mordo was very attentive to this kind of attack and looking at the bombs, he create a portal for each of them and threw them into the dark dimension.

------Dark Dimension------

This was a dimension ruled by Dormammu. Dormammu was resting in his dimension peacefully when suddenly a few portals opened, and space bombs exploded inside his dimension.

Before he could think of anything, the portals were closed, and the bombs create havoc in his dimension.

Multiple souls that were trapped in his dimension were ripped apart and then the planets and lifeforms that were formed inside his dimension were sucked into nothingness.

He let out a terrifying roar at this blatant provocation.

"Who was this? Who? One day I will find you and destroy your entire planet! No one can attack Dormammu in this universe. No one!"

Unknown to master Mordo, this simple attack made his future enemy notice his magical signature. In future, this one act will prove too costly for our sorcerer supreme.

-----Battlefield-----

Looking at their failed attack, the Kree soldiers were angry and decided to self-explode. They had put a large amount of volatile substance inside their simple suits and if all three exploded at the same time, it would be horrific.

However, just as they moved, something changed on the battlefield.

"Swish! Swish! Swish!"

In an instant, Gordon appeared and disappeared in front of them but not before slicing their necks clean with his knife. This finally brought the closure of the first battle between our avengers and alien forces.

Janet and Hank simply fell on the ground breathing deeply. Even though their bodies had changed because of Shadow Isles environment, they were never injected with the super serum. They had to fight such monsters only with the physique of a normal human.

If they had no suits that allowed them to shrink and avoid most of the attacks, they would have died long back.

Others were also in a similar situation. This battle of superior strength, speed along with advanced weapons pushed the Avengers to fight in their best possible state.

Eric managed to arrive at the battlefield at this moment and found the battle was over. Looking at the injured knights and dead ones, he felt anger and sadness.

"What are you all doing? Transfer the injured ones to the medical unit, serious ones can be sent to the Project Heal. Hurry!"

He gave the orders in his usual King like manner but suddenly he felt everyone looking at him and laughing.

He might be king of Africa but here, he was still a young boy.

"You heard Eric. Move!" In the end, Phil had to shout to move the tired knights to follow the command.

It was not that others did not respect Eric; it was just in the battlefield soldiers will always follow the orders of the one with the highest rank aka Phil or Hank or Fury. Hence, this funny scene.
