Kapitel 15: Chapter 15

Danny along with Nessandra and Arianna had been walkng through a large hallway. The carve curved in front of him. One of the attendants guiding them pointed out the way and they continued to follow. Pretty soon they reached a door, beyond that door there was a large chamber.

"Mister Fenton, please step this way." Following her she guided him to the middle of the chambers.

(Arianna pov)

Arianna and Nessandra had been led to a different path where they had joined the matriarchs testing Danny. All of the different Matriarchs were seated and having some refreshments. Chatting each other up.

"So, did you hear that Earth's stock market was just opened up for investments."

"I heard, they are a hot commodity right now. "

At a different table.

"So, how's little ceres going".

"She continues to disappoint me. Last I heard she had gone on to become a model."

"Well better then my daughter, she is working in Fornax. Honestly, I am wondering what has gotten into her."

Matriarchs meeting up like this was a very rare event. The Asari typically can live over a thousand years. Eventually, for them time passes by as if it is blinking. So getting together and chatting like this was a rare event for them atleast. She had no doubt that the after party was going to be wild atleast. Gathering up this many old coots who have so much political power together was a recipe for a disaster.

Oh look, her mother Seiha Fen'ton was also here. This was truly a disaster in the making. An annoyed expression was on her face. A sigh escaped her lips. This place would truly be trashed when they return back. Maybe the entire city if all of these bitches got drunk and one of them decided to show their biotic prowess. She could already imagine, completely pandemonium. She wont be here at least to deal with it.

Ah, she remembered the task she had to deal with. The book Danny had wanted to give to her mother for approval. She would do that after the tests were held.

She realized Asari naturally lived long lifes and Matriarchs espicially latched onto anything they got their attention on. Atleast, she knew that she could expect more visits from her mother.

Her mother was waving her over. She heard her voice. "Look, everyone look. My daughter and granddaughter are here. That means my grandson is waiting downstairs for me. hehehehhe"

"Can she get even more embarrassing." Realization dawned on her. She just said those words out loud. Her mother had a pissed off look on her face.

One of the other matriarchs said to her. "Even your daughter knows how embarrassing you are. Seriously, the fact that you are a Matriarch is one of the greatest miracles of this world."

Her mother started to join both of her fingers together sulking, "Only my grandson loves me. I will hug him afterwards to recharge myself."

Nessandra by her side also sighed.

The veins on Arianna's head began to throb, "Did you forget that we need to go to the monastery after this." She was so done with this.

Most of the other Matriarchs either laughed or were giggling.

When the attendant that had accompanied Danny entered the room.

"The preparations are complete. The testing may begin."

At that moment, the overall mood in the room suddenly changed. A holovid was displayed in front of them with live data from the test room. Most of the grins and easy going atmosphere disappeared. You did not live to this age and get this much power without a lot of struggle.

Her mother once more pointed at the empty seats next to her. Getting the hint, they sat down next to her. Each Matriarch had been provided a pad where they could write their questions. The general tests had been agreed upon. The extra ones would be devised to get more data.

(Danny pov)

Danny had found himself inside a wide chamber with alot of testing equipment and scientific gizmos.

"Mr.Danniel, Please can you enter the ring infront of you."

Danny nodded and stepped forward.

"Can you please transform?"

Danny yelled, "Going Phantom". Two white rings passed through his body , transforming him. He now had white hair and green eyes.

"That would be fine Mr Daniel. Can you please use one of your ectoplasmic rays on the measuring device infront of you."

Danny nodded and fired a ghost ray at the device. The device started to beep and shine.

"Thats enough Mr Daniel. Please give us a moment to go over the results."

After a few minutes of waiting during which Danny began to play with the PDA he had.

"Thank you Mr Daniel. Can you demonstrate any other powers you have."

Danny nodded. "I have cyrokinesis. the power to control ice." Danny said as he created some icicle in his hand. Shooting them at a few targets provided. Then he proceeded to create a wall from it, freeze a target.

"I can also duplicate myself." Danny split into two.

"I can also turn intangible and invisible." Danny said as he first went intangible and went through the wall then after returning to the room. He went invisible.

"I also have telekinesis." Danny eyes glowed as he used his power to suspend a target in the air, and then smash it down.

"I can also possess other people."

"That would be all. There are a few question for you." A shaken voice had spoken over the intercom

Arianna had seen the outroar happening inside the room. The matriarchs were whispering, some were left with open mouths. Even she was shocked by the shear range of powers Danny displayed.

Lets start at the beginning.

When the transformation happened, a range of readings were displayed.

The use of his ectoplasmic rays had given further data.

The asari had gone through it and come to a startling conclusion.

"The energy reading are familiar to reading from element zero."

"Not familiar, more like distant cousins." Another Asari interjected. "The properties of having zero weight is the same but it is more organic in nature and easily dissipates."

Seiha spoke at that time, "The source of the energy is inside him. A core I believed it was called." Her voice tinged with amazement.

Then Danny had proceeded to display each of his other powers and the matriarchs had visibly gotten confused and worried.

Cyrokinesis, easy to explain. With the energy source that he had. And the unique readings giving off. This was within the realm of possibilities.

He had done proceeded to duplicate himself. Both bodies had the same mass which frankly broke a few laws of physics. There was some more hushed discussions.

He had then proceeded to go through a few pieces of equipment. Sticking his hands within as if they did not exist.

Gone invisible. Complete visual camouflage.

Shown telekinesis and can apparently possess other people. What does the last one mean and how can it be possible.

And so the questioning started.

"Why do you yell Going Phantom."

"In the beginning it was a way to concentrate in order to control my transformation. Over time it had become something like a battlecry."

"How can you duplicate yourself while breaking the law of conservation of mass and energy."

"I am not sure, however when I duplicate my energy does split." There had been mods at that.

Next came the important questions from the Matriarch in charge of all the fleets of the Asari.

"We got reports that you can transfer your powers to camouflage and become intangible. Can you display such powers."

"I will need a volunteer first." Danny had answered.

The Asari began to speak with each other. Until one had suggested to bring Danny into the room and have each of them test his power.

It was quickly agreed and Danny found imself being escorted into the room with all the Matriachs.

He glanced at all the ladies present there. He was aware that they were the movers and shakers of the asari world.

" Mr Daniel, can you please start from the side you entered from and proceed to the end of the room. " The attendant had asked him

Danny nodded. He proceeded to the first Asari and asked for her hand. After touching her, he first made her intangible. She passed her hand through the table infront of her. Then he had proceed to make her invisible as well. Soon Danny let her go and she became visible once more.

"What a unique experience, it felt as if my entire body was numb and weightless. I felt a continuous tingling from my entire body." She explained the experience when the other Asari had looked at her.

Danny proceeded to go through the entire room showcasing both of those abilities.

As soon as he was done, one of the Asari with a straight posture had gotten up. "Mr Danny, I have a few questions. What are your limits with both of those abilities. How many people can you take with you? Are there any limits to the objects that you can turn intangible."

Danny stood in a thinking pose, thinking about the best way to explain his abilities.

"I can turn a group of people intangible and invisible as long as they are in contact with me. With regards to limits in mass, I can turn a small troop carrier invisible and intangible as well as any occupant for 40 minutes without any strain on my ghost core. With anything larger like a cruiser, I run a risk of depleting my ghost core and fainting for a long time."

The implication was clear to everyone present here. The ability to infiltrate anywhere with a special ops group. Landing troops safely behind enemy lines. The military applications were endless.

During this time, another attendant whispered something in Arianna ears. She nodded and made an announcement. "We have another appointment to keep, you people know what it is about and how vital it is." She said while Nessandra and Danny were taken out by an attendant.

She just remembered something.

"Ah mom, Danny had written his book. Here it is. You know, check for approval." Her mother had nodded at that. At this point she nodded and left. If only Arianna was aware what her actions had wrought. That single book would be the cause of the biggest fight and most damage caused by an Asari brawl up to date.
