Kapitel 49: Undead Ascension

In the middle of a green plain, in front of a grand swirling portal of blue aether, a huge crowd of young cultivators gathered. The atmosphere was thick with death aether as most, if not all, of the youths present were Liches, Undead, and other minor races part of the Undead-Lich union.

Suddenly, within the skies, right in front of the portal, a figure appeared. With long white hair, emerald pupils, and a body seemingly tempered by death's very essence, Patriarch Undead appeared in front of all in his full splendor, allowing his tyrannically overbearing aura to wash over them. His gaze panned across the crowd of youths before him, seemingly imprinting all their faces into his mind before he smiled and suddenly spoke.

"Today is a great day."

His voice, powerful and noble, echoed through the plain as silence immediately reigned.

"As you may or may not know, today, the Undead Ascension trials begin."

Excitement bubbled.
