"My name's Amon, I came here via the Undead Ascension trials of this generation."

"Oh?" The man was stunned. "They let you participate as an outsider?"

"…they don't know and plus, my bloodline is incredibly pure so they don't dare directly reject me."

The man chuckled and shook his head hearing this.

"Aiya, it seems my people are still hung up in those webs of schemes and lies. You'd think undead like us would be the dumbest but for some reason, we're almost always the most cunning…or evil."

His bony hands caressed his chin.

"Or maybe it's due to our attunement to life and death…who knows." He looked at Amon. "Anyways…so you seek my legacy? Do you even know who I am?"

Amon exhaled a breath, calming his mind, before he answered.

"You're the Lord in Black, the Ancestor of this planet's Undead and Liches. Well I suppose you and your wife are but you know, semantics."
