Kapitel 11: Meow
Outside of the second world
One week after the creation of the afterlife. I was just observing the second world for a whole week, I was trying to see what kind of god would fit in here. Speaking of god, Mortem has adapted to his life as a god of death quite well.
His realm has already started accepting souls. It currently has a few souls of deceased beasts roaming outside the City.
My first two humans adapted to the world pretty well too. I have already seen some failed tries of modified spells that they extracted from the scroll.
'It has only been one week and they're already starting to explore the world of wizards it seems like I gave them too much intellect.' I said in my head while pondering whether I lower their intelligence a bit.
"Hmm I think I'll let them keep it since the enemies of the human race in the future are fearsome." I said out loud and thought about the fearsome enemies of the human race such as dragons.
The dragons settled in the world perfectly. Three of them are now living inside their own floating islands while the other nine are currently searching for a proper territory, I kind of expected it because while making the dragons I pictured them to be arrogant creatures. They probably won't settle in a a normal looking territory.
''I love these guys." said while spying on one the dragons.
After chilling for a few minutes I decided that it's time to continue my work.
The next god that I am going to make is a little weird. I'm planning to create a non humanoid god, and the first thing that came into my mind was a cat.
I know that cats treat themselves as gods but this time I'd make one that is literally a god. At first I was thinking about giving him control over fate in this world but the responsibility of this is huge and needs a serious god so I changed him into a god of Mischief and Fortune.
God of Mischief and Fortune, a god that can make this world even better, he can give the mortals here encounters that can either reward them or harm them. I hope he doesn't give only give bad ones because that would suck and I would need to intervene if that happens.
I started imagining what kind of cat I was going to make. Images of cats in my past life floated inside my head until I saw the right one. I then used my powers to make the cat in my head become real.
" Meow "
The cat's appearance is, a cat. The most average cat you'll ever see. You wouldn't expect it to be a god. You might consider it an unlucky sign if you run into it in the middle of the night because of it's black color but other than that, its just a normal looking cat.
After creating it I immediately did what a normal person would do if they meet a cat. I squatted near it and started rubbing its furr. The cat purred in delight and started licking my hand.
' Such a cute cat, no one would expect that this little dude is a god. Should I make it my pet? Nahh it has responsibilities. '
After I was finished petting the cat I teleported both of us in the planet. I implanted some information about the world inside the cat's head. Like this world is still developing and it shouldn't interfere much. I also added information about Mortem in the after life and that he is a god too and should visit him sometimes.
I left the cat to its own devices and started roaming around the world again. The last time I saw it, it was busy swapping the eggs of aerial beasts with rocks. That was a month ago.

In the underworld
Living in this eerie and dried up plane, some would think that being here would be a punishment but to me this is the perfect dwelling place.
It is quiet, peaceful, unmoving and nothing like the noisy world of the living. The annoying chirping of birds, the sound of the wind and the trees that dances with it, everything in that place is a punishment for me.
' But here everything is perfect. '
I was sitting on my throne when I felt something or someone entered my realm. It was not a deceased soul but it wasn't a mortal either. I spread my awareness all throughout my realm but I didn't sense anything.
I flew around my realm searching for it but I found nothing.
' What could have entered without my permission? '
I returned to my castle and started strengthening the defense of my realm. Sitting on my throne I was busy modifying and adding protections to my realm to prevent things like this from happening again.
I'm almost finished when I sensed movement in my castle. There wasn't anything or anyone here besides me, so that should be the trespasser. I teleported in the hallway where I sensed where the intruder is.
I was a little taken back on what I saw, it was a little four legged beast. The shock quickly disappeared as I started questioning the intruder.
" What do you want intruder? Speak. "
" Meow? " It meowed in reply.
" Unless you want a fight either explain yourself or leave my realm and do not think of coming back unless you are dead. I shall pardon you for your intrusion since you made me realize how easy it is to enter my realm. "
" Meow "
So he doesn't want to explain? Then I'll make him stay here forever.
" Since you don't want to explain then pardon my rudeness. " I said while controlling the darkness around me and started shooting it to the beast.
I was only using a bit of my powers since I was not expecting this beast to be powerful and also to avoid damaging my castle, but to my surprise it started dodging with a speed that shocked me a little.
Seeing the speed of the beast made me fight seriously, I took advantage of the fact the I own this realm and teleported both of us away from my castle.
After teleporting I immediately gathered a huge amount of darkness right above my hand, I gathered more and more til the size was larger than the world of the living. I was about to throw it to the four legged beast when I heard it say.
" Yo yo yo chill, chill chill I- I was just joking around." It hastily said when it saw me readying my attack.
" So you can speak, beast, explain yourself. "
" I'm not a beast, I am a god just like you and also a cat. "
' So it is a god. Hmm '
I stared at the cat in silence, waiting for it to continue.
" ... "
" ... "
I started charging the ball again.
" Yo yo yo , okay okay fine, I don't have any ulterior motives I was just visiting my fellow god since the world above got boring. " It explained
" ... ''
" Also ca- can- can I stay here for a bit? " It said with a pleading tone.
" Since you are a god like me I'll give you a chance, you can stay here but don't cause trouble and stay away from my castle. " I said that and teleported back to my castle.
Forward
One year later
" What did I say about my castle, cat? I said stay away right?" This cat has been a bother, I think it's time to kick him out.
" Yo yo yo dude you've got to hear this story of mine, like- like- like one time I was sleeping on a tree and this- this- this big bird took a shit on me so I took their eggs and replaced them with rocks. Funny right? Haha ha? "
