Customizing The Status Screen {edited}

This will just be Lin Fang arranging his status bar cause the status bar is just too long and tiring to go through. Apart from that, there will be bits and pieces of Lin Fang's life outside the game and a pile of other stuff you'll have to find out yourself.

Lin Fang returned to his room and ate his food. After eating, he returned the plates downstairs and returned to his room.

After arranging and taking a shower, Lin Fang finally relaxed and sat in front of his computer.

He opened The New World's app and logged into his account by entering his email, username and password, which were all created before the game came online.

Lin Fang had always found the long list a little annoying, mostly because he had to read through a bunch of irrelevant information before getting to the information he actually needed

Take, for example, he was in the middle of a battle and he suddenly had to refill his HP or MP with a pill. Because of the long list, he would have to scroll all the way down before getting to the pills bar. That's if he wasn't already killed by then.

This was a problem all players encounter. Because the system was always updating and adding more bars from time to time and always displays everything, the status screen become too long and hard to work with at times.

Thankfully, the game producers have thought of this problem and created a perfect solution

Customizable Status Screen

It was something unavailable in other games. This feature allows a player to customize their status screen to their satisfaction by simply adding and removing different bars, creating entirely new bars and even renaming the bars on their screen.

Of course, to achieve this, one would need to pay a sum, but it was all worth it to have your status screen smart to move around

Lin Fang was one of those players that thought the long list was too annoying and customized his status screen

He clicked on the customize bar and the corner of the screen

A new screen popped up, this time requesting his account details for payment. He had to pay $200 to customize his status screen for life.

Lin Fang didn't hesitate to pay the money. After all, being from a rich family had its perks

The screen changed again and returned to the status screen, but this time, Lin Fang could easily customize it.

Without wasting anymore time, Lin Fang began customizing his status screen. He planned to make it shorter and easier to access different parts with just a click.

Lin Fang clicked save after customizing the status screen and leaned back into the chair with a sigh. He watched the system load the new screen and saved it.

Another twenty minutes later, the status was customized and saved

Of course, he could always return to the default status screen or pay a lesser sum to re-customize the status screen

Lin Fang smiled in satisfaction. His status bar now looked more organized. All he needed to do was tap on a specific bar and the content of that bar would immediately open.

Also, his skills and weapons bar now only show skills and weapons above earth rank. This was because in the future, Lin Fang plan to only have skills and weapons in heaven rank and above.

Next, he added a few new bars

[Unspecified Class Weapons] was for Weapons or items that didn't belong to any of the four classes. Example was the <Mystic Silver Flower>.

[Active Weapons] shows weapons he had chosen to use or had activated

[Artifacts] was an additional part of the inventory where artifacts are stored

Lin Fang opened the inventory. The inventory space was already filled up, and he wanted to free up space.

He was going to sell some things he didn't need. Like the bunch of weapons sitting there and gathering dust.

On clicking on the sell icon, a list of everything in his inventory popped up and along with their market price and availability

Lin Fang put the following on sale;

The information of a few of the items he had put on sale surprised Lin Fang.

Until now, he hasn't bothered to check the informations of the items he had and now; he was pleasantly surprised.

The soul cleansing pills could give one 1,000 leveling points and 4 Allocable Stat Points

It is known that the higher one's level, the more the leveling points they require to level up gets, and it becomes harder to gather it

The only way to gain leveling points was through battling, training, or meditating. There was also one other way, but it was only available at level 10.

Now, there was actually a pill that could give one 1,000 leveling points in the blink of an eye. That was days of meditating and battling saved.

Also 4 free allocable stat points..

Lin Fang didn't feel bad at all for selling them at such a high price at all. The system market price was even higher, after all.

Another item that shocked him was the <Basic Healing Skill>. It was the first item Lin Fang had seen, with special effects.

Without delay, Lin Fang picked option two.

'Get a notification every time they sell an item? please. Everyone know errors are more likely to occur when large calculations are being made at the same time.'

After his choose, the items were finally posted to the system Board where players post private missions and sell items.

Lin Fang finally relaxed and picked the half empty glass of juice on the table

"Now, all I need to do is relax and wait for the money to roll in" he said to himself and drank.
