Kapitel 39: Ship and Fight with Smoker
After Alex was informed by Petronia of Fraulein's disappearance, he quickly went around the city to look for his crewmate. He went into a lot of buildings and tried to get some information of where Fraulein might be. After searching for a few hours, he finally got some information that a long limbed guy was surrounded by Marines just outside of a shop near the fountain and was arrested. He was angry because the Marines are just straight up provoking him and making him angry.
'So they want to play like that. Alright, I will play your game.' Alex said in his mind as he used his den-den mushi to call his crew, as they were done with their shopping, and tell them to meet in a bar near the fountain. They all met up and Alex spoke up "The Marines have arrested Fraulein and I don't know what state he is in, but we have to get him back and also get the ship that the Marines have confiscated. Law, Braga and I will storm the base and rescue Fraulein, while Petronia, Robin, and Franco will get the ship ready so that we could sail away after the fight with the Marines. When you here the explosion somewhere in the base, that will be the signal to start your group's operation. Also, bring our old ship with the new ship as that would be a lifeboat whenever we will need it." the crew nodded and they quickly got ready for their operation that would happen later.
<Fraulein POV>
'I have failed captain. I have put them in harm's way because of my carelessness. I hope captain would sail the seas freely. He wouldn't want a useless crewmate that gets arrested by small fry Marines.' I thought as I was inside a cell in the Marine base.
Even though he thinks this, he still wants to see his captain again to make up for his mistakes this time. He just waits patiently in his cell hoping that his captain would rescue him and sail with him again.
<3rd POV>
After finalizing their plan to raid the Marine base, Alex and his group sneakily went to the Marine Base to start their operation to rescue their captured crewmate. They first surveyed the surroundings to take note of possible escape routes and the patrols of the guards. After they checked the area, they went back to the other group to relay to them what they found. The group that would get the ship took note of where the ship would be and started to plan how they were going to get the ship.
"When we hear the signal, we should start knocking out some guards first and get their clothes, then we should go to the port and start to raise the anchor so that we could start sailing. Then we would wait for captain's group to leave the base and catch up to us." said Franco as Robin and Petronia nodded and agreed with his plan.
After splitting up, all of them went to their respective posts and waited until they hear the signal that their captain told them. Then all of them reported their status through their den-den mushis.
After a few minutes, they heard the explosion in the base and immediately started their plan of getting their new ship. Franco's group started knocking out the guards and getting their uniforms to avoid being suspected as intruders. Then their group made their way to the base's port and saw a big ship that could probably fit up to 40 people. "Woah that's a big ship just for the seven of us!" said Petronia as she was surprised at how big the ship they were going to steal was. "We need a bigger ship since our captain might recruit more people to our crew. We need to be prepared for that." said Franco as he was looking at the ship. The ship was fifty meters long with three masts, black sails, and an angel figurehead. They saw the ship's name and it was named as the 'Black Pearl'. They boarded the ship after sneaking around the other Marines and made themselves familiar with how the ship works.
While the three were getting used to the ship, Alex's group were wrecking havoc inside of the base. They were knocking out Marine soldiers that were in their way. "Law, try to look for their treasury and loot everything from there then go to the ship. Braga, you go look for Fraulein and bring him to the ship. I'll hold them off before you both get back to the ship." said Alex as he knocked out another Marine soldier. They both nodded as they split up to do what they needed to do.
While Alex was busy holding off the Marines, he felt something coming for his back. With his sharp instincts, he managed to dodge a smoke bullet and he immediately knew who this was from. "Fancy meeting you here Smoker. Never thought I'd be graced by your presence, but I can't say I'm not excited." said Alex with a carefree expression. Smoker saw this and was angered by his carefree expression as he saw this as Alex not taking him seriously. "You are going to regret saying those words Asura Hands Alex. Your journey ends here." said Smoker while trying to intimidate Alex as he just says, "Why don't you come here and make me Smokey." then as he says that Smoker launches himself towards Alex. Alex dodged his attacks using his Observation Haki and also punched Smoker with Armament Haki making Smoker surprised as this was the first time he was hurt by a punch in the East Blue. "You know Haki?!" asked Smoker with a shocked face. "Yeah I know Haki, so are you regretting your words a while ago Smokey?" mocked Alex after he punched Smoker. Smoker wiped the blood from his mouth and said, "Bastard! I will be ending your journey here, so don't think that just because you have Haki you can beat me!" and once again tried to attack Alex.

ImStar0710 My novel will still follow the canon timeline, but since my OCs would be added there are more things that would change in the One Piece World. This novel is just a product of my ideas that I got while I was reading about One Piece.
