Kapitel 44: Moricana Island
As the Asura Pirates sail away from Crocus and Laboon, the log pose that they bought was pointing towards an island called Moricana Island. According to Petronia, their sailing time would be one to two weeks depending on the weather. So they decided to just train on the ship since they have nothing better to do.
One night the sea was calm and there was a full moon, Robin was admiring the view when Alex went outside to get water. Alex saw Robin and decided to talk to her since they haven't talked with each other that much. "Hey Robin, why are you still up?" asked Alex while drinking water. "Nothing, just admiring the view and getting some air, you know the usual." Robin replied while still looking at the moon and the stars. They both look at the sky for a few moments and Alex decided to ask, "Why'd you do it?" Robin was confused and asked "Do what?" Alex replied "Why'd you accept to join the crew? I mean all I did was say that you'll have a new family with us and pretty much anybody could've said that to you. So why?" Robin just smiled and replied "It was your eyes. The mouth can say anything it wants, but your eyes would never lie. Just think of it as one of the things I picked up when I was on the run." Alex heard this and smiled as he didn't know why she accepted so fast in the first place. Alex was still in his thoughts when Robin continued, "I also felt like I could be myself when I join your crew. I wouldn't have to put on a mask or a fake persona just to fit in. You all accepted me for who I am even if I had a bounty of seventy-nine million berries. You all are the closest thing I have to a real family." Robin was on the verge of tears when she finished and after listening to Robin, Alex just said, "Well, we're all in this pirate thing together, so naturally we won't treat you badly as our crewmate and as one of our family." Alex then hugged Robin and let her emotions out. After she calmed down, Robin went back to her room and Alex stayed behind to admire the view she was looking at.
After a few moments, Alex heard someone coming out of the chambers and was surprised to see Law. "Can't sleep captain?" asked Law with a glass in his hand as he sat beside Alex. "Yeah, just thinking about some things you know. How about you? Why are you still up?" asked Alex and Law replied "Well I was hungry and I went to the kitchen to get some food and drinks." Alex nodded and looked at the moon as there were no clouds for him to watch.
They stayed silent and after a while, Law spoke "Captain, I have something to tell you." Alex was surprised but regained his calm expression as he said "What is it?" Law then replied "I will join the crew officially now." Alex was caught off guard by what Law said and asked "What brought this sudden change?" Law replied "Well after Crocus gave me his notebook, he made me realize that there were no temporary crew members because once you join a crew, you're in the crew and you have to be a hundred percent in it." Alex grinned happily as he officially has a ship doctor now and said "Welcome to the crew officially Trafalgar Law." Law replied "Captain since I'm part of your crew now I should probably tell you my full name. It's Trafalgar D. Water Law." Alex didn't expect to have another crew member to have the 'D' initial but just patted Law's shoulder and went back to his room to sleep.
The next day, the crew celebrated Law's officially joining of the crew and had a party for it. After celebrating, they all went to train again in the ship and sailed towards their next island. Few days after their celebrations, they finally reached Moricana Island and they saw that the dock was full of people and ships that were resupplying. Once, the ship docked Alex and his crew split up and went on their own to explore the island and buy whatever they need.
While Alex was exploring the island, he saw a lot of gun shops and weapon shops in the island. 'Seems like this is Fraulein's island. This island is full of different weapons.' thought Alex as he imagined the tall Fraulein drooling over the weapons that are in this island. Alex wondered what else was in this island so he went to a bar where he heard people "Did you hear of the kid at the shooting range who keeps challenging the marksmen in this island?" then another person replied "Yeah he keeps on beating them and taking their money. That kid must be rich now." Alex couldn't help but smile as he thought 'Maybe I could recruit that kid to my crew and I'll have a reliable sniper.'
Listening to the people inside of the bar, Alex was curious and went towards the shooting range where the kid was. He wanted to challenge the kid and hopes that the kid could be recruited into his crew. As he went inside the building, he heard some gunshots that were very fast and went towards it and saw a fifteen year old kid who was shooting the target accurately in the middle. He watched the kid shoot the gun over and over again until the kid stopped and said "Fate is smiling over me today as I have another challenger. How about it, would you like to try and challenge me?" Alex was surprised but wouldn't back down from a challenge as he said "Alright I'll challenge you, but let's make a bet." the kid expected this and replied "Sure what do you want to bet." Alex replied "If I win, you will join my crew, and if I lose I will give you a million berries." the kid smiled and said "You're on mister!"

ImStar0710 My novel will still follow the canon timeline, but since my OCs would be added there are more things that would change in the One Piece World. This novel is just a product of my ideas that I got while I was reading about One Piece.
