As a member of Baroque Works, Vivi knew well that Crocodile's base of operations was in Rainbase, the city of sand.

Their journey from Whiskey Peak to the capital, Alubarna, was necessary because reaching Rainbase required passing through Alubarna, and Vivi needed to discuss Pluton with Cobra.

Once these issues were resolved, Vivi and Byakuya prepared to depart for Rainbase to confront Crocodile.

Around midday, Byakuya asked Vivi, "When do we leave?"

With a hint of concern, Vivi replied, "If possible, I hope we can leave now. Every minute we delay could result in more casualties."

"Let's do as you suggest," Byakuya agreed without hesitation. After all, they had been away from Water 7 for nearly a month.

Besides dealing with Crocodile, Byakuya had other plans he wanted to pursue during this time, so he needed to pick up the pace.

Hearing Byakuya's response, Vivi smiled sweetly and turned to Bell, asking, "Uncle Bell, how is your injury?"

"It's fine. I've almost fully recovered. As long as I don't push myself too hard, there shouldn't be any problems,"

Bell answered, then gratefully turned to Byakuya. "It's thanks to your potion that I've healed so quickly."

Byakuya waved it off, not paying much attention.

Vivi continued, "In that case, Uncle Bell, could you use your Devil Fruit ability to take us to Rainbase?"

"It would be much faster than riding camels and would save us a lot of time."

Bell hesitated, glancing nervously at Blueno.

Byakuya immediately understood Bell's concern and explained, "Yesterday, his weight was due to using his ability. Now, he's back to normal."

Relieved by Byakuya's explanation, Bell nodded, "All right, let's head out now."

With that, Bell transformed into his falcon form, towering three meters high with a wingspan of five meters. "Climb on!" he said.

Igaram initially wanted to join them, but Vivi insisted he stay behind. "Uncle Bell is still recovering, and carrying too many people would strain him and slow us down.

A few of us will be enough," Vivi said with a smile. "Besides, with them around, I'll be fine."

Cobra stepped forward and said, "Please, be careful." Then, turning to Byakuya, he added, "Mr. Yoru, I entrust my daughter to you."

Byakuya replied calmly, "Don't worry, I always keep my word."

Hearing Byakuya's familiar phrase, Lucci and Bruno exchanged strange looks beneath their masks.

"Always keep my word?" Yeah, right!

They were thankful for their masks; otherwise, Byakuya might have noticed their reactions and given them a good thrashing.

The four climbed onto Bell's back, barely finding enough room to stand.

The space was tight, so Vivi stood beside Byakuya at the front to help navigate while Lucci and Bruno stood quietly at the back.

Bell kicked up a swirl of sand with a powerful flap of his wings and took off into the sky.

As they took off, the sudden jolt caused Vivi to lose her balance, making her lean against Byakuya.

Feeling the warmth of his body, Vivi immediately blushed, her face turning red from her ears down to her neck.

She quickly stood upright, avoiding eye contact with Byakuya out of embarrassment.

However, during the flight, the shifting air currents required Bell to adjust his flying position constantly.

This posed no problem for Byakuya and the other two, as they stood firmly on Bell's back, their feet seemingly rooted in place regardless of how Bell flew.

But it was a struggle for Vivi, who was not as strong. She wobbled back and forth like someone walking on a tightrope, trying to keep her balance.

One glance down at the tiny city below and the ant-sized people made her realize that falling from this height would be disastrous.

Seeing her pale face, Byakuya said, "If you're having trouble standing, you can hold onto my clothes."

When Byakuya finished speaking, Vivi clung to his arm as if it were a lifeline, holding on as if her life depended on it. She was terrified.

Byakuya, feeling the soft touch and the faint fragrance lingering around him, did not pull his arm away.

After all, as the saying goes, "It would be foolish not to take advantage of a good thing." This was her choice, not his fault.

Standing behind them, Lucci and Blueno silently gave Byakuya a thumbs-up.

"As expected of Byakuya-sama. No matter where he goes, he never fails to charm." T

hey were in awe, thinking that Byakuya was like a walking embodiment of male pheromones.

Throughout the flight, Vivi held onto Byakuya's arm. Even when they arrived at their destination, Sandora, Vivi didn't realize she should let go.

It wasn't until Bell returned to his human form and noticed Princess Vivi clinging to Byakuya's arm that his expression became shocked.

Pointing at Byakuya's arm, he stammered, "This... could it be... you two... I..."

Seeing Bell so shocked that he couldn't even speak, Vivi quickly let go and, blushing furiously, awkwardly explained,

"Uncle Bell, don't overthink it! I was just unsteady on your back and afraid of falling, so I held onto Byakuya for stability."

Listening to Vivi's explanation, Bell was even less convinced.

"Come on, I'm not blind. You say you were unsteady on my back, but we've already landed, and you were still holding onto him."

"And that blush... Anyone can tell something's up. Could this be a sign of a major change in the kingdom?"

As they landed, several white arms suddenly emerged from a nearby hidden spot in the desert.

The hands opened up, revealing dark green eyes in the palms, staring intently at Byakuya and the others.

Byakuya immediately sensed this feeling of being watched.

With his Observation Haki, he quickly located the five hidden arms and the eyes in their palms.

With a knowing smirk, Byakuya looked at the eyes in the palms, his expression beneath the mask tinged with excitement.

He hadn't expected to encounter one of his targets, Nico Robin, so soon.

He couldn't afford to let her escape now; capturing her later would be much more troublesome.

Five small streaks of Armament Haki shot out from Byakuya as he considered his options, shattering the eyes and arms into dust.

Meanwhile, Robin, hiding not far outside the city, suddenly felt a sharp pain in her eyes.

She opened them wide, tears streaming down her cheeks.

Her delicate face was filled with disbelief as she muttered, "He was able to detect me... Just who is this man?"
