Chapter 122: Logical?

Kaido's corpse plummeted to the ground like a sack of potatoes. There was nothing left of his head anymore. It was such a shame, I admired his power. If he had joined under me he would
have become my number two.
My eyes landed on Queen's unconscious body. I did need some new subordinates. Sure, there were risks with hiring people like them, but as long as they became docile I could make it work. It won't be long until the World Government got tired of me and decided to try getting rid of me no matter what.
This was always the problem with people in the higher-ups, they had acted too slow. They could no longer kill me stealthily and it won't be long until they realize that too.
I landed next to Queen and kicked him a couple of times, waking up the unconscious round man.
"Huh?!" He looked around shocked, but once he saw me his eyes popped out of his glasses. "AHHH!!! MAX!!!"
"Shut up," I said calmly, my Conqueror's Haki bursting out. At once Queen did as he was told. "You work for me now, okay?"
"Yes sir!" he yelled out enthusiastically. "I promise to follow you to death, sir! The Beast Pirates will always follow the strongest. We-"
I stared at him harshly and he shut up like a well-trained dog. Good, he understood the standing between us. "I couldn't give less of a shit at how the Beast Pirates worked. From now on it's only my orders that you follow. I don't care how strong you are, as long as you follow me, I will let you live another day."
"Y -Yes sir!!" Queen stood up and saluted me with one arm since the other mechanical one was broken when I hit him.
Bothering to act civil and nice with the Beast Pirates was useless, they followed Kaido because of his strength and they will do the same with me. If they don't, then I will kill them. If they aren't useful, then I will kill them… if they don't follow my orders… well, it was obvious what would happen to them.
"Good, go and tell everyone the news, if they don't comply, kill them. Also, if anyone goes against my rule from ex-members of the Beast Pirates, it's your responsibility to handle them." I gave him another command and shooed him off. He immediately ran off to do his duty, leaving me alone as I stared at the giant skull in the middle of Onigashima. "That looks lame."
With a casual swipe of my hand, a quake wave went and destroyed the building, killing a couple of people, but none too important. Negan suddenly appeared next to me and whistled. "Damn~ you are fast. And that's coming from a guy who can move at lightning speed." Looking around he frowned and whispered. "So, are we like Marines? Or… pirates?"
"There is no need to whisper, but we are still marines," I smirked, pointing at the coat on my back with the words True Justice written on it. "I just took down another Yonko in the name of Justice and will soon open up Wano, the country that I saved from the tyrannical Kaido. Though I will have to kill its Shogun too."
"Yeah, when you say it like that, it sounds so nice," Negan smirked, looking towards a place where a person was aiming a gun at us. It was just another one of Kaido's subordinates. Negan went and killed him, within less than a second he was back next to me.
"Anyway, can you go and take care of something?" requested Max.
"You don't even need to ask." Negan smiled, ready to follow his Boss' orders without a second thought.

Kozuki Orochi was in his castle, panicking once he heard the news that Kaido had died. How is that possible?
The Yonko were almost unbeatable existences that were almost impossible to be killed. At least they were so in Orochi's eyes, he knew that Kaido had been able to defeat someone like Oden, who was both crazy and strong.
*bzzzt*
Suddenly the sound of electricity crackling rang out and a man with slicked-back hair and a spiked bat in his hand just stood in front of him.
"Who are you-"
Baaam!!
The spiked bat smashed Orochi in the face, bringing him down. But the Shogun wasn't dead and lightning crackled on Negan's bat as he smiled maliciously. "Max told me to make sure I kill you. So I will be smashing your body to pulps and keep trying until you die. Kekekeke~"
"Wait, I give up!" Yelled out Orochi in surrender. "I will follow the man who killed Kaido. Think about this logically-"
"Listen here bud," Negan interrupted, shaking his head tiredly. "Do I look like the kinda guy who thinks logically?"
With that said, he swung his spiked bat right into Orochi's head, smashing the man's skull to bits. "Hell yeah!!" He then kept beating the Shogun's body repeatedly till it was into a bloody pulp, but the bloodthirsty look in Negan's eyes didn't fade at all. Staring at the ceiling his smirk became even wider. "Oy~ you up there. Show yourselves, I know you are already in the ceiling."
Fwish!
A group of big, small, young, and old men appeared. An old man with an elongated head, long earlobes, and sunglasses stood in front. "I am Fukurokuju and the head of the Ninja in Wano. We were Orochi's previous guards."
"Such a good job you did there." Negan said sarcastically, looking at Orochi's pummeled body. "Best bodyguards I ever saw."
"We-"
"Listen, I don't care about your names, titles, or job" he interrupted the old man. "Tell me something you are good at and we will see if you are useful enough to live."
The head ninja nodded. "As Ninja we-"

Negan's body flashed and he within an instant smashed his spiked bat in the old man's elongated head, turning it into a bloody mush in an instant. "Keep it fucking simple, I won't say it twice." he then looked at the rest of the troupe. "Now start talking, one word or less. If you don't speak, I will kill you."
The wording was a little confusing, but the ninjas didn't dare voice their worries as that would get them killed.

A couple of hours later, on the other side of Wano, Queen had gathered the majority of Beast Pirates and was standing atop a mountain of corpses. The dead bodies belonged to the people who were still loyal to Kaido.
Most of the higher-ups in the crew had decided to follow their new leader. If King had been alive and hadn't died in the Marineford war, he might have gathered a resistance crew since he had been truly loyal to Kaido. But now, Queen and the others had accepted Bear D. Max as their new leader.
BOOOM!!
Suddenly the island started shaking and a loud sound rang out.
"What is that?!" Inquired Ulti, one of the Flying Six within the ex-Beast Pirates.
"Ah, sorry about that," a strange and unfamiliar voice rang out in the middle of the room. Everyone turned and saw Max, who is shorter than most of the people laying on the ground casually. "I was testing out my powers a little."
Ulti, as always, had a short temper and was about to say something rude when Queen interrupted her. "Max -sama! You are finally here. We have been waiting for you."
Only now did they understand who that normal-looking man was. They at first couldn't believe their eyes, as the man who defeated Kaido didn't look intimidating at all. Max stared at them, his eyes shined red for a split second and he said. "Bow."
The words were so simple, yet at that moment, everyone felt as if the weight of a mountain had been put on their shoulders. A single thought ran through everyone's mind at that moment.
'What a monstrous King's Haki!'
