Kapitel 49: Chapter Fifty_ Be Warned!

Christine's POV

To be frank, I didn't expect to see Valerie sleeping soundly when I went into her room, but I let her rest as much as she wanted because she really needs it. The way we discussed as though we were pals amazed me, and I swear that I felt closer to her.

"Be Warned! The Day For Me To Carry Out The Mission Is Closer Than You Expect."

That was the only thing written on the plain sheet. I didn't mean to exclaim, but when I conceded what I've just done, I cleared my throat and turned to see the confused look on Valerie's face.

"Don't mind this." I said while waving the envelope," It's a prank test from an unknown person." I said with a deep frown, trying as much as possible to make my expression incomprehensible.

"Okay." She replied, but I know that she's too clever to believe that.
