For a second, I felt like my ear must be interpreting the opposite of what Ben said. I stood up from the sofa and walked to the window and raised the curtains, I must have heard wrongly.

"Anita, are you still there?" He asked.

"Yes, I didn't hear you clearly, so what did you say?" I inquired from him with my heart pulsating loudly.

"Anita, I said that our plan was abortive and Herod is dead as we speak, his body was found lifeless in his room." He said, and my legs became wobble all of a sudden.

"Ben, I clearly told you how important this was to me,in fact, you knew it, yet your stupid brain didn't tell you to have a backup plan, right?

Now what are we to do? Do you expect me to carry this little earthworm in my womb!I snapped at him with rage while pacing around the room and fanning myself with my hand.
