Kapitel 44: The Village V: The Shadow

  The shadow lingered around my body as I stood in the middle of the area. Just what had happened? Everything was going according to the plan. But we underestimated their strength. 

The dark magic surrounding us was too much. To the point, I'm unable to use my magic. I tried focusing, feeling the mana flow around my body. I suddenly felt pain in my chest, which made me gasp out for air, and my legs fell weak. 

"Flora!" I heard Yustaf calling my name. But the pain in my chest kept growing each second and at one moment. I lost my sense of hearing. 

If I knew this was bound to happen. No one would have gotten hurt. What am I doing? In the end, I'm unable to do anything. 

Before this incident happened. I was back at the camp mentally and physically preparing myself before departing into the second area.
