Kapitel 84: Crushed

Imani had been thinking of calling Lucas since she and Lola left the house a couple of minutes ago but she doubted he would want to hear from her. Though she was really worried about where he went to and what he went to do so she had ended up calling him. He didn't answer. She wanted to call Lucille to ask if he was in Wolfborn but the woman was probably in the lab and she wouldn't know if he was.

She remembered the way he looked at her before he left her room and it suddenly felt like someone had their hands wrapped around her neck, leaving only a little space for her to breathe, while her chest became heavy. Her eyes begin to water as she dialled his number again and she quickly blinked the tears away. He'd kissed her in the kitchen less than an hour ago but now, he hated her. She didn't want him to hate her.
