Kapitel 27: Focus

After being entertained by what Ingrid said, Adi then continued his lecture as usual until finally, it was time for a break, together with Ingrid headed to their second favorite place to eat, along the way the two were chatting and unconsciously a call was heard from behind both of them.

"Adi...woy...." shouted Fikri who ran while approaching Adi and Ingrid

Hearing the call addressed to him, Adi immediately turned and saw Fikri who was running towards him, pausing to wait for Fikri. "Haaaa.... finally met you too, where have you been these two days?" Fikri asked Adi while he then greeted Ingrid

"Ohh...go straight to my house, after college, what's wrong?" Adi replied while asking back

Ingrid who saw the two of them chatting in the hallway immediately interrupted while saying "we'll continue to talk in the dining room" Ingrid suggested and then both of them agreed.

"Ok, just eat" Adi replied

"Same, I'm also hungry" Fikri replied adding

So then the three of them headed to Adi's and Ingrid's favorite places to eat, while Adi's and Ingrid's favorite places to eat were located at the back of the campus, where there was a small shop serving Indonesian food and general dishes, such as fried rice, dumplings, ketoprak, batagor, chicken pieces, etc

In addition to a large selection of food and affordable prices, Adi and Ingrid's favorite place to eat is also next to the campus garden area, which can be said to have a comfortable atmosphere to spend time eating there, soon the three of them arrived and immediately Adi guided Ingrid and Fikri to sit at his favorite table.

In a small shop located in the innermost part of the shop, which has a window directly overlooking the garden area, "ok what do you want to order?" Ask Adi to Ingrid

"I just want to fried rice " replied Ingrid

"Are you Fikri?" Ask Adi again

"I just pecel chicken," Fikri said immediately "oh yes drink sweet iced tea" he added

"You usually have avocado juice, so if I just use orange juice, the food is fried rice," said Adi to Ingrid.

After determining the order then they called the waiter and gave their order while waiting Adi and Fikri continued their pending chat "now you can continue, why are you looking for me?" Ask Adi to open a conversation

"You forgot huh?" Ask back Fikri

" Forget what?" Ask Adi confused don't understand

"Well... forgot about this, you don't remember today we pay the rent for the building for the event" Fikri replied

Hearing Fikri's words, Adi immediately became silent for a moment and soon shook his head and said "forget me .... a lot of thoughts" said Adi replying to Fikri in a sorry tone

"Just like old man, you have a lot of thoughts" teased Ingrid

"Well, that's right, you are forgetful, just like old man," Fikri added

"It can't be helped, I have a lot of work to do," Adi said spreading his arms while making a helpless expression

When the three of them were chatting, it didn't take long for their orders to arrive, "Ok, eat first then continue later" Adi interrupted and then started eating his food.

"I want to try your fried rice," said Ingrid without waiting for Adi's approval and immediately took a spoonful of fried rice on Adi's plate.

Seeing this, Adi did not forbid Ingrid and instead let him, only Fikri who looked at the behavior of the two was a little surprised because he knew that although Ingrid and Adi had feelings basically two of them did not reach a status where they were close.

And this time the actions taken by Ingrid and also the reaction given by Adi, the school informed Fikri about the change in attitude that had occurred between the two, so of course, in this case, he was curious and asked the question "you two are dating?" Ask Fikri

Hearing a sudden question from Fikri, Adi and Ingrid suddenly felt shocked and for a moment both had different expressions, Adi's face looked relaxed, but Ingrid's face looked nervous as if waiting for Adi's answer. Even though the two of them are officially dating, the other hand, he also understands that the changes that have occurred between the two can be said to be fast.

So then he felt that some gaps might make Adi uncomfortable, so then he waited for an answer from Adi about whether he would confess to Fikri about their relationship status or he would just answer normally, and if Adi answered to reveal their status Then of course, In this case, Ingrid would be very happy.

But then if Adi didn't clarify their relationship and only answered as a close friend, of course, it would make Ingrid sad and disappointed but her love for Adi didn't change. But if she had the choice of course she hoped that Adi would explain they're true relationship.

"Yes, we both officially dated yesterday" Adi replied with a smile but didn't stop his eating behavior

"Ohhhhh... there are rumors, but congratulations" Fikri replied in amazement

On the other hand, Ingrid, who heard Adi's answer, was happy and then said "yes, thank you, and I pray that you get a girlfriend too soon" laughed Ingrid Fikri

"Yeah... teasing you Ingrid, you know my condition, for dating, wow....!!!!! It's hard and lazy ah" Fikri complained to Ingrid

"Yes.... be a little confident being a person, don't feel inferior" Adi replied encouraging Fikri

"Ok, I save your advice" replied Fikri

"Oh yes, you said earlier today we will pay the rent for the building, now I want to tell you too, I'm sorry because I'm not fit and for health, I also need permission to leave the committee members" replied Adi making an excuse not to re-engage as a committee members

"Ehhhh... it's not your fault if you let go!!!!" Said Fikri to Adi

"Yes, it's not wrong, it's been explained to you that I need enough rest," Adi said answering

Then have you talked to bro Firman?" Fikri asked

"Not yet, I just wanted to tell you, Adi said in reply and then took his mobile phone and called bro Firman's number"

For a moment there was a voice calling from the phone and soon a familiar voice sounded in Adi's ear "what's going on?" Ask bro Firman when he picks up the phone from Adi

"This is bro, I want to resign from the festival committee, I am sick and need enough rest, the doctor said" Adi replied back

"Oh that's right because you have to take a break, what can I do, and you'll just leave your work with other subordinates, okay," said Sis Firman replied

"Ok bro, thank you, but if that's the case, I can leave it to Fikri," Adi said back

"Ohhh okay, just give him, and let it be delivered to my table later," said Sis Firman again

"Then thank you very much bro" Adi replied politely

And then the two of them soon finished their call, on the other hand, if Fikri saw that Adi's resignation went smoothly, he then saw his heart say to himself, only then did Fikri know that his younger brother would entrust some of the tasks he had in the festival committee to him to submit. to bro Firman.
