DIO was a little shocked. Not so much in seeing Enrico, but seeing someone else with him.
DIO had felt that Enrico was seeking him out hence why he wasn't so shocked. He just didn't expect Enrico to meet him so quickly. Which may have been a blessing in disguise considering the recent Joestar problem that he'll have to deal with.
Enrico had introduced him to Claire. He was a little confused at their relationship given Claire's obvious feelings for Enrico but put those thoughts aside as he observed Enrico interact with her.

As the days went on DIO began to help both Enrico and partly Claria with understanding over their Stands. He didn't do much aside from give pointers though. Checking on them periodically. Learning more and more about their abilities.
During these days, Claire would see DIO getting quite close to Enrico. Not emotionally but physically.
Claire was naturally disturbed by DIO's behaviour, more so by Enrico's seeming acceptance of it. She noticed that DIO was far more...affectionate, was that the right word? Towards Enrico.
She didn't know if he swung that way and she didn't care. She'd seen and heard the way DIO would treat his bedroom partners and she didn't like it.
She wondered how someone could be so cruel to others and wondered if he was going to use either of them the same way he used those women. Maybe not for pleasure but the point still stands.

The night had come out and there were few people on the streets. Two people could be seen walking together.
"Where are we going Dio?" Enrico asked walking slightly behind his friend.
"I have recently been brought to the attention of a very unique set of birds. And I believe that you would be of great help to me in acquiring them." DIO explained as they neared a seemingly normal building.
Entering it, it didn't long before they met the man, a bird trainer, tending to a falcon and a parrot. Naturally startled by the appearance of two people he'd never met. The man began getting frantic. Bringing a smile to DIO's mouth and annoying one of the birds.
DIO began to move closer to the man, causing him to become even more terrified. As his hair began spreading out as if dancing in the wind.
Enrico watched as DIO began working his vampiric charisma. Simultaneously seducing and terrifying the man.
But before DIO could do anything, the man broke out of his charm. Not out of sheer will but rather absolute fear and terror at what was happening.
Turning around the man began to run away. Causing DIO's smile to grow wider as the birds continued to get agitated.
As the parrot flew towards DIO it didn't see Enrico's Stand crawling above it. The falcon on the other hand did. Allowing for what happened next.
Sighing Enrico took out two discs before throwing one into each bird. Each disc contained only one instruction engraved on the disc. Follow Enrico Pucci's orders without question.
The parrot was hit dead on as it fell to the floor. The falcon on the other realised that something was amiss and dodged the disc.
And as soon as it turned away from it, Enrico's Stand pounced on it. In the few seconds that they were falling to the ground, the Stand created another disc and inserted it into the falcon, implanting the instructions as before.
Spinning around the Stand landed directly on all fours while the falcon landed on the ground.
Looking back towards DIO, Enrico noticed that he had already taken care of the man and was approaching him as he dismissed his Stand.
"My my Enrico. Those were some impressive moves." DIO said in his usual sultry voice. To which Enrico only shook his head as he gently picked up the birds.
"You flatter me too much Dio. I simply did as I was taught." DIO shook his head in response as he stood in front of him.
"You don't give yourself enough credit my friend." He said as he put his hand on Enrico's shoulder.
"You are far more impressive than you give yourself credit for. You put my heart at ease by simply being by my side. And the resonance between you and your Stand is quite frightening." He finished, licking his lips as he did so.
"Come now, we must prepare for the future." He said as he let go of Enrico and began returning to his mansion.
