Kapitel 161: The Daydreamer

Earlier that night, Harker called Lander and Cliff with an emergency ping.

Cliff was forced to end his conversation with Charm, much to his annoyance.

Cliff sat down with a disgruntled expression.

Seeker and Lander finally arrived.

"Well? How goes your mission?" Seeker laughed.

Cliff gave Seeker a strong glare. It was one of the rare times that he actually displayed it.

Seeker didn't seem bothered.

"You look like you had a good night." Harker laughed.

"You could say that. I am about eighty percent sure that this Lara is a Presider."

Lander, Harker, and Cliff suddenly froze.

"A Presider?"

"Specifically, she should be Zeraphine of the Presiders. The phrase 'of the Presiders,' is a title bestowed on an Aragarian Presider which makes her either a nominal or an elected leader amongst Presiders." Seeker smiled.

"Then this is good news!"

Seeker gave a mysterious smile.

From Drug-Dealer to Day-Dreamer. Not a bad evolution for our little Cliffy here. Knowing that this site caters to readers with wild imagination, i'm pretty sure that most if not all of you would have Skills or even Path's similar to Cliff's.

Next chapter on Thursday and will be the conclusion to the battle between Cliff and Gardo Dalisay.

(To the pinoys: any Probinsyano fans here? Or Gardo Versoza fans? I doubt there are though... Light Novel and Philippine TV/Cinema just don't sit together.)
