Reukra, our favorite scientist, was carrying out an experiment. He wanted to further increase the strength of his Pokémon.
"Mmm, the new armor seems to be more efficient than those of the past. I should be able to unlock greater potential. I hope everything will be fine..."
While Reukra was lost in thought, one of the equipment started shining brightly, almost as if it was about to explode.
"Damn, the calibration machine seems to have some problems!"
Reukra took cover, but suddenly, a powerful light struck him. He fainted on the spot.
While unconscious, a voice seemed to echo...
"Reukra, your genius cannot be contained in this miserable world. I want another Pokémon world to witness the strength of the Delta Pokémon. So, I will send you elsewhere. Keep striving for perfection!"
Reukra regained consciousness, but he was no longer in his laboratory. He found himself in the middle of a small town in an unknown region.
"Ah, my head... What a pain. But where am I? And why do I have my briefcase with my team and Delta species?"
Reukra was surprised and bewildered. Something had happened, and he had no idea what was going on.
Shocked but not frightened, Reukra looked around for any signs that could provide information about his location. He spotted a sign and started reading it.
[Pallet - Kanto Region]
"Pallet? Kanto Region? I don't recall ever hearing about them before. In the Timeless documents, there were mentions of other regions, but I thought the rest of the world had been reduced to ruins... So, I'm no longer in my world. Interesting."
In the distance, Reukra noticed a laboratory of some sort. Driven by curiosity, he decided to approach it. The lab was vast and had a spacious outdoor area for Pokémon. Reukra was amazed by its efficiency. While observing some Pokémon, the lab's professor noticed him and decided to approach.
"Who are you, and why are you watching my Pokémon?" the professor inquired, intrigued by the stranger who appeared to be a businessman.
"Ah, I'm a researcher. I was fascinated by the Pokémon species in your lab. It seems that the Pokemons are in top condition." Reukra replied.
The professor smiled. "You don't seem to know me, but I'm quite famous. I'm known as Professor Oak."
"No, I had never heard your name before today," Reukra responded.
"Strange. You're not from this region, are you?" Professor Oak asked.
"No, I'm not. In fact, due to a significant unexpected event, I find myself without precise information," Reukra explained.
"I understand. Well, I can lend you a hand if you'd like," Professor Oak offered.
"Thank you very much. By the way, my name is Reukra," Reukra introduced himself.
The two entered the laboratory. Inside, they encountered various high-tech machinery and equipment. Reukra was thrilled by what he saw. The professor gestured for him to approach a computer, and Reukra followed.
"So, which region do you come from?" the curious professor asked.
"The answer may surprise you... My region of origin is Torren, but I don't believe it exists in this world," Reukra replied.
"Huh?! How is that possible?" Professor Oak was taken aback by the response. At first, he didn't believe Reukra's words, but then he recalled a detail.
"Now that I think about it, my cousin from Alola once told me about someone appearing from an Ultra Wormhole. But it doesn't seem like you arrived in Alola, right?"
"No, in fact, I appeared here in Kanto not too long ago, and I don't recall entering a Wormhole," Reukra explained, intrigued.
"I see. What plans do you have now that you're in a different world?" Professor Oak asked, genuinely interested in the future of this mysterious man, hoping he wasn't another criminal.
"Well, first, I'm going to publish some of my research to acquire capital, although I'm not sure if the currency is the same here. And, of course, I intend to continue my research. I possess some special Pokémon, and after studying their genes, I've discovered that they can reproduce like regular Pokémon. There's a 50% chance of the offspring having a different form," Reukra shared with the professor.
"Having said that, I was wondering if you could help me find a place to settle down so that I can continue my research. I have some Nugget bars that I can use to obtain usable currency before publishing my research," Reukra requested.
"Ah, certainly! I know of some places here in Kanto where you could settle. However, I don't think much can be done today. If you wait until tomorrow, I can contact people and assist you in settling down. For tonight, you can sleep here in my workshop," Professor Oak offered.
"Thank you for everything. I can't wait to resume my research," Reukra expressed his gratitude.
After their conversation, Reukra settled into one of the rooms in the laboratory to rest.
"Am I the only one who arrived in this world? I have some doubts," Reukra pondered as he drifted off to sleep.
And so, Reukra concluded his first day in a new world. What awaits him? And is he truly the only one who arrived here? Stay tuned for more information in the next chapters! :)
