Kapitel 34: Being chased by some wild animal

When Ivo left the shower Alina was all dressed up having a fight with Thiago at the door.

"I just don't think this is a great idea," Thiago said, "I mean. You're upset with everything that happened I get that...We can get shitfaced, I probably would really enjoy that."

Alina was wearing the most makeup Ivo had ever seen her with, a flared skirt, a bra with many complicated straps, and a cutoff denin jacket. She looked ready for a night out, but there was something manic about her eyes.

"You weren't there, Thiago, you didn't have to watch." She bent down to put on her usual pair of platform boots, lacing them up with quick, practiced tugs. "Worse, you didn't have to pretend to be okay with it."
