Kapitel 29: Timeskip and Graduation

'How can this scroll be here? I mean how can a scroll of Scorch style even exist? As far as I remember Pakura was the only one who could use scorch release. Seems like Pakura wrote about it in a scroll so that her future generations can learn it.'

There wasn't just scorch style in the box. There were a few more Kekkai Genkai scrolls like Ice release, boil release, lava release, etc.

Yami was about to call the man to say that he was buying the scorch style when something came to his mind.

'If I buy it and use scorch style later then he will know it was me. I even took the summoning contract of bats from him. I could put him in a genjutsu and take a sneak peek at the scroll,l but he has the byakugan, allowing him to see through genjutsus. He could prove useful to me in the future to anything on the black market so having a bad relationship with him or even killing him would do me no good.'

Yami decided to buy the scroll so he picked it up from the box and walked to the man.

"I wanna buy this." Yami said and the man turned around to see the scroll in Yami's hand. As he saw the scroll he frowned and looked at Yami with a suspicious gaze.

"You know this it is a kekkei Genkai right? Only Pakura of the Hidden Sand village was able to use this. Many have died attempting to practice this. This scroll is just a copy of the notes Pakura wrote. Rarely do people pick up a scroll from the Kekkai Genkai pile. More than half of the books in it are from clans that have been destroyed. Scorch release scroll is one of the scrolls which no one even touches."

"Don't worry I have a buyer in mind." Yami said to which the man narrowed his eyes.

"Oh, so you sell my merchandise to others?" the man asked.

"No, it's just that I didn't want to risk using the summoning contract that you gave me so I gave sold it to someone who likes to take risks." Yami shrugged.

"You need luck to find such clients. I won't ask you the name of your client but if you want some stuff in bulk or want something made anonymously then do let me know. I can get it done." to which Yami just nodded.

Yami paid for the scorch-style scroll which cost him a month's allowance. Luckily Sasuke didn't care much about money so Yami won't be in a pinch when he asks for more money.

Yami left the shop and went to the Uchiha compound. He had everything he needed for now and he didn't need to do anything out of ordinary. He was already sending his shadow clone to the academy every day and except Sasuke, no one knew about this.

'TIME TO GRIND'

------------------------------------------------

2 years later... Uchiha compound.

"COME ON YAMI... You don't want to be late on your graduation day, do you?" Sasuke shouted standing outside their house.

"COMINGGG" came a voice from inside as a 7-year-old Yami came out of the room. His height was the same as Sasuke's. He wore a white hoodie with a red design on it. His blue eyes which were bright 2 years ago now looked cold as ice.

'Looking at him feels like I am looking at father. The same cold demeanor and calm look no matter what the situation.' Sasuke thought looking at his little brother. In the past 2 years, many things had changed. Yami had hardly left the compound. He would either stay in his room or train deep inside the forest. Sasuke and Yami had stopped sparring together. Sasuke was so used to it that he started sparring with Naruto.

Sasuke felt that Naruto was the only one in his class who had also lost his parents so only Naruto could understand what Sasuke feels. He still considered the yellow-haired loudmouth annoying but now Naruto wasn't last in class as he used to be at the start of the academy. Yami and Sasuke hadn't taken their swords outside the compound so no one in the academy including the teachers knew that the brothers practiced Kenjutsu.

Yami and Sasuke walked together to the academy. At the gate, Yami saw Neji standing with a man who had a serious look on his face.

'He must be Hiashi Hyuga. I wonder why he came here personally.' Yami thought. As he went ahead he felt eyes on him so he looked back and saw Hiashi and Neji looking at him. He turned on his Sharingan which had two tomoe in it which made Hiashi and Neji flinch.

In the past 2 years, Neji had fought Yami's clone a couple of times but was never able to land a hit. Yami knew that even if 1 hit connects, his clone will dissipate so he always made quick work of Neji.

'7 years and he already has 2 tomoe? Seems like the things I heard about this child's talent were true. I can't believe he is the same age as Hanabi.' Hiashi said while imagining his youngest daughter who just treats kunai like a toy and runs around the house causing a ruckus.

"Sasuke I am going for the graduation test. I will see you at the house." Yami said as he and Sasuke had arrived inside the academy.

"Fine, I will get you your ramen. When will the teams be assigned?"

"Probably tomorrow or the day after. I just hope I don't get teammates who will hold me back" Yami said as he left for the training ground where the graduation test was meant to happen.

"And I thought I was the ambitious one" Sasuke murmured to himself. Sasuke knew that his younger brother's talent was in a league of his own and even his elder brother Itachi wouldn't be able to match it after a few years. Sasuke never felt jealous because of that he was happy that if he dies while avenging his parents and his clan then Yami will recreate the clan.

Yami reached the ground and saw that the Hokage himself was sitting in the middle of the supervisors. They were a few more supervisors there as well but one of them made Yami show a malicious grin which he hid immediately.

'DANZO...I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU'
