Kapitel 78: Chapter 78: S-rank secret
Naruto, Sasuke, and Fugaku were all sitting in a room that Naruto sealed off, Naruto wanted to talk about the Uchiha he had encountered after his fight with Yagura.
"So I wanted to ask you guys about a few things and I need some information, first of all, I want to ask about who Uchiha Obito is," Naruto asked Fugaku, he doubted Sasuke knew anything.
Fugaku raised an eyebrow but answered nonetheless, "Obito was a young orphaned Uchiha that died in the third shinobi world war, he was a student of the Fourth Hokage and friends with the copy ninja Kakashi who he gifted his eye to before he died, which is the reason why we, the Uchiha clan, had allowed Kakashi to keep the Sharingan of Obito, other than that there isn't much to say about him, his parents died when he was born and his grandmother died shortly before he became a genin, why do you ask about him?" Fugaku answered and asked Naruto.
Naruto nodded, "Well, apparently he's not as dead as we thought him to be, after I defeated Yagura a man in a red clouded black cloak showed up, he said that his name was Uchiha Madara but the Kyuubi recognized his chakra signature as Obito's, I confirmed this while we fought, he was also stupid enough to tell me about the Mangekyo Sharingan, which is another thing that I wanted to talk about." The moment Naruto said the words Mangekyo Sharingan both Sasuke's and Fugaku's eyes widened.
Fugaku sighed, "I didn't want the knowledge of the Mangekyo to spread but I guess it is fine to tell you, the Mangekyo Sharingan is the next evolution of the Sharingan, it gives each user a unique ability and allows us to use the ultimate defense of the Uchiha, the Susanoo, but it all comes at the cost of your eyesight, each time you use the ability you are granted by the Mangekyo your eyesight worsened eventually rendering you completely blind, I unlocked mine in the third war, though I'd rather not talk about it." Fugaku explained the Mangekyo Sharingan to Naruto briefly.
"I have also unlocked mine during our time in the Land of Water, I can attest to the fact that my eyesight has definitely worsened, though not by a lot it is still clearly noticeable that my eyesight has gotten worse," Sasuke said to Naruto.
Naruto nodded "Obito was able to become completely intangible for the whole duration that we fought, he may have already figured out a way to use the Mangekyo without drawbacks or has a healing factor that allows him to use it indefinitely, his ability also allowed him to create some kind of portal through his one eye which he could teleport with, he used it quite frequently so he definitely knows something that we don't." Naruto said to them altering the truth of what he was saying, he knew exactly why Obito could use it as much as he did but it would risk revealing himself so he would rather not say how he knew.
"Hmm, that ability sounds like sounds like Kamui, there's an ancient record of an Uchiha using it back in the warring periods but the information is extremely limited, Mangekyo users are extremely rare, we can count the amount of them on our hands, currently only four exist, five if you include Obito, possibly six if Kakashi can also use it," Fugaku said
Naruto nodded, they continued talking about these things for around an hour more discussing plans about how to deal with Obito and then headed to the Hokage's office, it was important that the Hokage was made aware of the fact that Obito was alive and that Kakashi also got to know of it.
They Shunshined a few times and appeared in front of the Hokage's office, they knocked on the door and entered, the Hokage was alone, with his Anbu guards, so they didn't have to wait to enter.
Hiruzen looked at the three men that entered his office and could already feel a headache forming.
"Sigh, what has brought you three to my office?" Hiruzen asked.
Naruto rubbed the back of his head and smiled "Ah well, you see, some things happened and now we have an S-rank secret on our hands that we need to tell you about, it would be great if you could bring Kakashi here as well as it concerns him, also make sure that there aren't any Anbu around when we talk about this." The more Naruto said the more serious he got, by the end Hiruzen was sure that Naruto wasn't joking.
Hiruzen nodded and motioned to one of his Anbu to bring Kakashi, they waited for all but 2 minutes before the two arrived in the office, then the office was completely cleared and a 5-meter radius around the 5 of them was completely sealed off so that no one would be able to hear anything that they said.
The Hokage looked at Naruto "Well then, I suppose you can tell us about this S-rank secret, I hope it is as important as you make it out to be." Hiruzen said seriously.
Naruto nodded and started talking "After I defeated Yagura a man in a red clouded black cloak appeared calling himself Uchiha Madara appeared, he was capable of teleporting and becoming intangible, but I called him out as the Kyuubi recognized his signature as someone else's, someone who's supposed to be dead, Uchiha Obito, Kakashi's former teammate, and the student of my father." Naruto said as he looked at Kakashi and Hiruzen.
Kakashi's lone eye widened, he was extremely shocked, "What! That shouldn't be possible, I saw Obito die with my own eye, it shouldn't be possible for him to be alive, and why would he attack you?"
"Well I wondered that myself too but the reason doesn't matter that much, what matters is that he is able to enter any place completely undetected and even if he is detected we won't be able to touch him as he can make himself completely intangible, it may be the most fearsome ability that I've ever seen," Naruto said.
"That sounds very familiar, the man that attacked the village on the day you were born was also reported to be able to become completely intangible, although Minato was able to defeat him Minato was unable to stop the Kyuubi, if it is in fact Obito then we will need to research some things, also the red clouds represent a mercenary group that recently popped up, they're formed completely out of S-rank ninja but we don't know who yet, Jiraiya is currently investigating them." Hiruzen said.
Naruto's eyes widened slightly, as did Fugaku's and Kakashi's, they couldn't believe that Obito was responsible for Minato's death.
