Kapitel 11: Chapter 11 - A New Home
[A/N: Quick apology for not posting the last few days, I had a family situation which caused me to have to travel a lot. This chapter is quite a bit longer to make up for it and I will see if I can finish another one today. Sorry <3]

''Why did Grandma want to see me?'' Sukuna said as he walked across next to Satori and Sumure who were almost jumping with excitement as they brought him to a bridge that guarded a huge mansion that stood proudly above the walls.
The walls were around 5 meters high while the gate was a beautiful red color that seemed to have aged over time which only complimented its look.
''You should come in first'' Sumure grinned as he pushed open the gate, leading Sukuna and Satori inside.
The inside of the guarded mansion contained a beautiful front garden with a huge pond guarding both sides of the path to the mansion's entrance. The side of the road had statues of Hashirama's Multiple Thousand Hands Technique while beautiful sakura trees hang over the pathway.
Sumure and Satori led Sukuna through the entire place, showing him the training ground in the back of the building, the pool, the sauna and even explained what kind of carps were in the pond.
''Sumure, Satori, what is the matter with you two? Why are you showing me someone's garden?'' Sukuna asked while raising an eyebrow at them, they looked at eachother and smiled lightly.
''Well, this is actually the Clan Leader's mansion. This mansion was made for the Clan Leader, so since you're going to inherit the clan, this will be yours. But...'' Sumure said as he motioned for Satori to continue,
''Currently, Tsunade's stuff is still inside which is why we didn't show you the inside yet. Grandma asked us to make sure you were comfortable with basically taking her ho-...'' Satori turned towards Sukuna who had already long since disappeared after he heard the first part.
*Bang*
A window on the top floor was opened without any gentleness as a king-sized bed flew out towards the two brothers.
The two of them hastily jumped to the side, avoiding the bed as it crashed on the pathway, the beautiful bed burst into pieces on the pavement.
''T...this little devil.....'' Sumure said as he gulped, Satori nodded in satisfaction and continued avoiding multiple items, chairs, tables, bookshelves, even kunais and shurikens weren't spared.
After a few minutes, Sukuna happily came downstairs with a relieved grin on his face.
''It seems that someone blew off some steam'' An old voice shook Sukuna who had a foolish grin on his face awake.
''How do you like your new home dear?'' Marani said with a kind smile on her face.
''Goodmorning Grandma, Akai'' Sukuna greeted the two as he had a dumb smile on his face, ''It's amazing, but the experience was even greater''
''Sigh... as long as you atleast try to mend your relationship with her if she ever comes back'' Marani said with a helpless smile.
''Grandma, what exactly happened while I was gone?'' Sukuna asked with a serious expression which made the four of them smile, even Akai had a light smile on her face.
''We have decided to move your ascension forward, in a week you will be selected as the new Senju Patriarch'' Marani said with a warm look in her eyes.
''What? Why? I haven't even gotten rid of the traitors yet?'' Sukuna asked in confusion.
''You already know who it is right? Don't think I'm stupid dear'' Marani said with an amused grin on her wrinkled face before she continued, ''I don't have long''
Sukuna, Akai, Satori and Sumure all visibly trembled.
Sukuna wanted to say something but held himself in and just looked at the sky for a bit, time was ruthless and yet he was completely helpless against it.
''Do you really have that short grandma?'' Sukuna asked with sorrow.
Marani merely nodded and said, ''Child, make yourself at home. This is your home now. Go to the Hokage's office afterwards, the old man wants to see you''
Sukuna bit his lip and answered, ''Understood Grandma''
''Lets go back no Akai, I'm quite exhausted'' Marani said with a light smile. However, that worried Sukuna even more.
Not even a month ago she had been training him for a whole evening yet now she was merely away from her house for less than an hour and she was already exhausted....
''Understood'' Akai said and left after saying her goodbyes aswell.
''We're going aswell kid, we still have to take care for your ascension'' Sumure and Satori said with sad smiles, their hearts were heavy to see their last Elder in this kind of state.
''Mmm... Take care'' Sukuna nodded aswell and walked inside, his shoulders felt even heavier than before.
He walked up to the top floor and wanted to lay down on a bed. After realizing that there was only the empty master bedroom there, he walked a story down and took a room there for the time being. He would go shopping later and get some new furniture.
His hands moved rapidly as his back hit the bed before the standard small mirror appeared above his hand.

''If I use everything I have, I should be able to fight a new Jonin'' Sukuna said as he stared at the ceiling while thinking about the future with slight satisfaction.
''Danzo wants us gone, Hiruzen doesn't fully trust us, Tsunade is a variable whose intentions I don't know, Root is still here and those treacherous fucks....'' Sukuna sighed and got up, ''In the end, strength is all that matters''
His body flickered and disappeared towards the Hokage's office.
Sukuna's body jumped over the rooftops as he looked at all the people walking around in the village, some of them looked up at him for a short amount of time before continueing their day.
'Ignorence is bliss....' Sukuna's eyes grew cold before he disappeared at an even faster speed.
As Sukuna arrived in front of the Hokage's office, the Hokage had already noticed his presence and told him to come in.
As Sukuna entered the Hokage's office, the room was already packed with people, Kurenai was there with Kakashi and Guy with their teams.
''Ooh! Another young hero! Nice to meet you, my name is Might Guy but you can call me Guy!'' Guy introduced him in his usual eccentric manner which made Sukuna lightly cringed but still stretched out his hand to shake Guy's.
''Ohho, that's quite the grip young man. Such power of youth! How about letting me teach you some Taijutsu? I'm sure you're great at it!'' Guy happily said as he felt Sukuna's grip.
Kurenai looked at Sukuna and lightly smiled with a helpless smile, she knew as no other how ridiculous his strength was.
''*Cough* *Cough* Excuse me, but please do this in your own time'' The Third Hokage coughed and interrupted Guy before he could speak again.
Sukuna looked at the others in the room, seeing Kurenai's, Kakashi's and Guy's team, it was quite obvious how different their acting towards the Hokage was compared to him.
'If only they knew the truth of this old man' Sukuna shrugged his shoulders and looked at the Third Hokage who was inspecting his body.
''Sukuna, I heard about what happened during the mission I gave you. I intended it to be a little vacation for you two but it didn't work the way I wanted I to, my apologies for that'' Hiruzen said with a light smile.
Although it sounded like an apology, he couldn't exactly refuse his apology either..... It was like a 'deal with it' situation....
''Don't worry, I had a body pillow to sleep off the pain'' Sukuna earnestly nodded his head with his thumbs up which Kurenai grit her teeth at him with slightly flushed cheeks.
''I see, I'm happy you have a nice pillow?'' Hiruzen said in confusion before continuing, ''I did hear that you killed a Jonin on your own and even helped Kurenai dealing with three others. I didn't expect you to be so talented''
Sukuna's expression didn't change, he already told Kurenai to not withhold any information about the fight, she wanted to hide his strength in fear that someone might try something. But he needed to show off his strength like nobody else, otherwise anyone would dare something with his clan.
''Considering your previous achievements, I wanted you to select you for the Chuunin exams later next month. But I changed my mind. I want you to take part as a referee in the second round as long as you pass the written exam, as long you finish those two tasks you will be promoted to a Chuunin'' Hiruzen said seriously.
''Hey old man! That's not fair! Why does he get special privileges?'' Naruto yelled with indignation
''Shut up Naruto!'' Sakura yelled and hit him on his head.
''Ouch! Sakura-chan...''
''Alright, alright. Are you okay if I tell them Sukuna?'' Hiruzen asked to which Sukuna just gave him 'do as you please' look.
''Sukuna will soon take over the Senju Clan so he doesn't have much time to focus on the exam. However, his skill is already way above yours so leaving him as a Genin would be unfair'' Hiruzen said seriously to which many eyes opened wide.
''We got another young talent! I knew you weren't weak with that strength of yours!'' Guy gave him a thumbs up while Kurenai just looked at him with a complicated expression. The burden of an entire clan would fall on his young shoulders.
''Eh?! Isn't the Senju Clan the ones that created the village with the Uchiha?" Naruto asked to which Hiruzen nodded.
Sukuna got annoyed the more questions Naruto started to ask, the other Genin there also started to slowly get annoyed.
''Ah, here'' Sukuna thought of something and grabbed a sealing scroll from the inside of his jacket and threw it to Kurenai who grabbed it in a daze,
''What is it?''
''Lunch and dinner, keep it inside the scroll to keep it warm though'' Sukuna's casual words that he thought nothing of shocked Hiruzen enough to nearly fall of his chair as he noticed Kurenai's red cheeks.
Guy merely gave him another thumbs-up while Kakashi couldn't help but remember a page from Jiraya's book and hastily looked away.
''Kurenai-Sensei.... y..you and him are d...?'' The one who unexpectedly spoke such bold words was Sakura with blushing cheeks.
''NO! I mean.... Aah, just leave me alone already!'' Kurenai hastily tried making up excuses and looked at Sukuna to help her who just gave her an evil grin.
''Sakura-chan, you shouldn't make such statements so straightforward. It might ruin the mood'' Sukuna finally intervened and smiled lightly while handing the blushing Hinata a scroll aswell.
''U..umm'' Hinata looked at the scroll with hesitation, but Sukuna continued, ''open it and see if it fits''
Hinata nodded hesitantly and opened the sealing scroll, a chainmail shirt popped out which she hastile tried to catch but fell over trying to do so.
Awkwardly scrambling up, she puffed her cheeks at Sukuna who was trembling while holding his laughter.
''It's quite light, let me know when you need heavier ones'' Sukuna said as he put his hands on her small waist and helped her up, her gaze became quite awkward as her cheeks blushed at the casual contact.
''Lord Hokage, we will go depart for the mission now'' Kakashi interrupted as he left after getting Hiruzen's confirmation.
''The rest of you can take your leave aswell, I already informed the other teams that are up for promotion about this information. Sukuna, you stay for a moment''
All of them obediently walked away after Guy gave him another invitation to learn Taijutsu from him while Hinata thanked him once more.
''Be careful'' Kurenai whispered softly as she passed him which made him smile a little, it seems she didn't trust Hiruzen as much as he thought.
''Sukuna, I heard that you were going to inherit the Senju Clan next week'' Hiruzen said seriously to which Sukuna nodded,
''Yes, I heard it this morning myself. I didn't expect it to be so soon''
''So you were already aware of it before you went on the mission?'' Hiruzen asked with a raised eyebrow.
''The Senju Clan can't wait for any longer Lord Third, neither do they want to wait'' Sukuna looked straight at Hiruzen with a cold look on his face.
''I see, well.... The mission Team 7, Kakashi's Team was sent on was to get Tsunade and Jiraya back to the village'' Hiruzen said as if it wasn't a big matter but Sukuna's eyes grew to a chilling degree as his voice became stone cold,
''You think anyone in the Senju Clan is waiting for her to come back? Lord Third, I suggest that you stop the pathetic attempt to put the Senju Clan on a leash. We Senju's will never betray the village until it betrays us'' Sukuna said coldly to which Hiruzen took a deep breath, although he was young, it was clear that the kid knew exactly where his path would take him.
''I see, it seems that you got the wrong intention. I send them to get her back to make her my successor as the Fifth Hokage'' Hiruzen continued, avoiding the topic of her place in the Senju's.
'Truly a scheming mind, trying to gauge how our view on Tsunade is while testing the Senju's loyalty huh' Sukuna smiled internally, two could play this game.
''I thought you would be Hokage for another 50 or so years'' Sukuna feigned ignorance and said with 'surprise'.
'If it wasn't because of your ridiculous growth, do you think I would make her come back so early? She was my back-up plan' Hiruzen smiled bitterly as he looked at the youth.
Well-defined muscles, tall for his age, beautiful eyes and hair, mature, responsible and even someone who would rather die with his team than flee which he showed in his latest mission.
'If only he was so obsessed with the village instead of the Senju's, he would've been the perfect successor' Hiruzen sighed and shrugged helplessly.
''Don't mind this old man, I'm tired and want to retire with the feet in the air until my time comes'' Hiruzen smiled helplessly before saying, ''That was all''
Sukuna nodded and said goodbye, as his feet left the room he turned his head around one last time and said, ''By the way, a strange group have repeatedly attacked our people over the last few years. Inside the village even yet nothing has been done, many people are dissatisfied so keep that pirate-looking friend of yours on a leash please''
Hiruzen was left stunned for a second as the door closed, this child truly didn't cover his words. He was one of the few that dared to call Danzo something like that.
'But he is right, we already lost the Uchiha.... If we lose the Senju's too, then the public will surely question what happened. The aftermath from the Uchiha was already a pain, but due to Madara's reputation it wasn't too hard. However, Hashirama's clan....'
Hiruzen did have his suspicions about Danzo's movements lately, and it seemed he had to pay closer attention to his old friend.
