Kapitel 10: Ch 10 : Graduation Test (2)

Ka-boom!!

The moment the ground came in contact with Sanji's foot, it got crushed into rubble.

However….

Swish-!

Tenma bent backward and dodged the flying rubbles. It flew straight past him and got embedded in the three on the far side.

He didn't even have time to feel happy about dodging one of Sanji's attacks – the proper assault was only just beginning now.

'Right.'

This time, it was a kick from the right.

Swish-!

Tenma used his physical strength to shove his body away from the trajectory of Sanji's feet.

At the same time, he pushed the chakra into his feet, trying to maintain distance from Sanji.

Until now, everything was going according to his plan.

He might not be able to use observation Haki or things like that, but it doesn't mean he could not predict how Sanji moved.

After years of learning under Sanji, he could at least predict one or two moves of his Sensei, and adjusting his breath rhythm, it could help him survive for a few seconds under Sanji.

Tenma, now with confidence on his face, once again faced Sanji's continuous attack.

From his left, right, right, left, front, front, right, and left.

'I can do this.'

The more he concentrated on the battle, the slower he felt his movements of Sanji became. On the other hand, his own movements got progressively faster and faster.

It was then – he sensed a chill right below his abdomen.

'No!'

Tenma wanted to avoid it, but it was too late. Sanji's kick had already arrived at his abdomen.

BAMMM!!!

The impact made him almost puke his guts out.

He was kicked hard and launched into a nearby tree. Stopping only after he broke the third tree in succession.

Ha-ah!

Tenma exhaled breath exploded out.

' Damn it.. Sensei really didn't hold back in that attack.'

It was wrong. Sanji obviously held back a lot. If he didn't hold back, Tenma would not end up

only with a few bruises here and there. But Tenma still couldn't help but complain.

Sanji landed in front of Tenma. His eyes were full of provocation.

" Is that it? Your way of avoiding my attack was not that bad, but why don't you try attacking?"

This time, Sanji released a more pressing aura against Tenma.

Before, he wanted to see how Tenma reacted to his attack. Now, it was time to see Tenma's attacking strength.

Gulp.

Tenma swallowed down his dry saliva. An immense level of power was dripping out of Sanji's body.

So this is what Sanji's real strength looks like.

He wanted to escape from this place if that was at all possible right now. That's just how tremendous the pressure he had in his mind.

'However….'

If he was to run away, it would betray his effort. And at the same time, it would disappoint Sanji, who had spared his time to train him.

His glare became even sharper than before.

In complete contrast to Tenma, Sanji looked pretty calm and took a large stride forward to stand before him.

Just like what he did before, he kicked out indiscriminately with both of his legs.

The black leg rained down like a barrage of bullets.

Dududududu-!!

Tenma's brows shot high up.

With an attack like this, trying to avoid it would be futile.

Therefore, he should rather try to counterattack.

He clenched his teeth as he knew it would hurt, and then…

'Côtelette!'

Tenma's movements quickened up significantly as if he was performing a dance.

Dropping down into a one-handed handstand position. Tenma, with a breakdance-like move, tried to strike back. Unfortunately, the kicks of his sensei were far too quick, and, instead of attacking back, he could only defend herself desperately.

The flurry of fatal attacks rained down on him constantly, with each one powerful enough to knock him unconscious if he made just one mistake.

BANG!!! BOOM!!! BAGG!!! BENG!!!!

"Not bad, though still not enough."

Sanji was really enjoying himself as it continuously poured out the types of attacks that regular people would never be able to follow with their naked eyes.

' So this is how it feels, huh? No wonder Zeff was smiling back then.'

The memory of him being trained by Zeff passed through him in a flash. Pushing his precious student to their limit and stimulating their growth, is what he learned from Zeff. And it was what made him into the Sanji that we all knew.

Tenma was being pushed back bit by bit, his entire body soaked in sweat.

'Did he finally reach her limit?'

At the end, Tenma's stamina could no longer support himself.

His wet hands slipped, and he missed one of the attacks from Sanji. It was a painful mistake on his part.

He failed to deflect Sanji's attack, and it hit him on his abdomen before sliding past him altogether.

Pah-gahk!!

"…!!"

Tenma quickly retreated while gritting her teeth. Fortunately, no bone should be broken, as Sanji held back at the last moment. But he still felt numb all over his body, and it was hard to move.

And so, he lost this battle in that fashion. He looked at his limp body with a dismayed, regretful gaze.

"So, is that all? Is that as far as you can go?"

Sanji's voice reverberates.

Tenma closed his eyes. He was ready to accept the fact that he had failed Sanji's expectations.

But who knew at this moment, a notification popped up from his system.

[ DING!!! Congratulations on gaining Sanji's acknowledgment.]

[ Graduation test has been completed.]
