Kapitel 3: Dream Day

it's been a few weeks since Naruto signed his new deal with the lakers and he's loving every part of his brand new life, Naruto no longer has to worry about not being able to pay his bills and he can give his family the life they always wanted for him.

So after being a little distant over the passed few days Naruto walked into his family apartment in the neighborhood where his parents and sister are relaxing, Naruto told his parents to quit their jobs as he'll make sure they can retire early, they obviously argued telling him that he didn't need to do that but Naruto ow's them for their support during his life.

Mito is sat on a single chair legs crossed and doing her work for her course to become a doctor,

Naruto: Okay. Drop what you're doing and come with me

Naruto stood by the front door as his parent and sister looked to him confused.

Minato: Where you taking us?

Naruto said with a shit eating grin that he has when he's done something he knows he shouldn't have but he also knows that it will be really appreciated so he's really excited to show them it.

Naruto: ... Your gonna take us.

Naruto still held the smile as he lightly throw a set of car keys towards his dad, Minato caught them and looked confused as did the others, Minato looked to the key though and saw the astorn Martin logo on it, everyone knows that Mianto's dream car is a astorn Martin and he looked to his son

Minato: You didn't...?

He asked while Naruto just shrugged a little and walked out the apartment with the smile still there, Mito, Kushina and Minato looked to him the decided to follow him till they got out their apartment block and saw the car in the front...

... Naruto smiled as his dad turned into a little kid on Christmas morning, Naruto and Mito followed him as Kushina was a little annoyed her son is already spending the money like it was the end of the world.

Kushina : Do you have to waste all your money?

Naruto: Your really gonna hate the next part if you think this is to much.

This caused them all to look at him again, Naruto's not the best with money and when he gets it and sees something he like's he's gonna buy it even if he has other things to pay before hand, Naruto needs someone smart with money and all in his life before he ends up back in this shit neighborhood living in a cardboard box begging for change.

Naruto: Just get in and we'll see...

Naruto got into the back of the car leaving the door open and sliding across, mito shrugged as she climbed in behind him shutting the door and Minato got in the drivers seat, Naruto assured him that this is his car and everything is paid for, the insurance and everything is sorted while his mother got into the front passenger seat.

Mito : Seriously. Where are we going?

Naruto sighed as both his parents looked at him, Naruto huffed in frustration because this is why he's been distant over the past few days, he can't keep a secret and his family can't understand a surprise.

Naruto -"Look".... as the nav come on and directions came on it

Naruto -" just follow that right "?

when they reached the location

Kushina-"oh my god..."

... Naruto 's first priority was to get his family out of the shit neighbourhood and into a life they can enjoy and it started with the car and a brand new house.

as the his parents checked out the house ,he called his sister outside to talk to her

Naruto:' Look, I owe you a lot as well."

Naruto:" ... You didn't have birthday parties so Mom and Dad could send my to games, I'm here because you sacrificed so much for me."

Naruto smiled to her as she hugged him telling him that she didn't mind and that's the best thing about Mito, Mito will do anything for anyone making her the perfect fit to become a Doctor, the only thing slowing her down is her job and the loan debut she's raking up from books and other school necessities.

Naruto - "so all your school debt is either covered or paid off !"

Mito looked up to him as she couldn't believe what he said, the amount of nights she spent lying awake worried about all her debut and all her worries and Naruto just washed them away, easy as that.

Naruto: ... "Hey, it's okay. It's what family do right. We help each other."

Naruto:" You can stay with me as well, rent free.and you can use my car as well."

they both hugged as their parents watched this sibling moment from inside the house with a smile on their face

Naruto knew Their lives were going to change socially...and financially. To get through such things smoothly, he was going to need an agent.

John was an up-and-coming agent in the sports world. His agency, 99 Sports Group, was founded recently and Naruto liked his no comprise attitude and after talking with his parents about this ,they both agreed on a contract

Now with the representation came the possible endorsements. The first was a major one...shoe deals. Throughout his high school and college tenure companies have had their eye on Naruto and really wanted him signed. It was up to the young man to decide which one he'd want to endorse.

The pitches were elaborate. One shoe company had Naruto, his parents , go to a mansion in the Hollywood Hills to watch a game of the NBA Finals before they presented their offer. Another company flew him and his sister to their headquarters and showed him a personalized message from a celebrity who endorsed them.

After Nike, Adidas, and New Balance did their pitches throughout the week, Puma came in last. They decided to speak with him at his house. Their CEO, a man named Bjørn Gulden, was present with a colleague of his.

They sat in the living room with a laptop on the coffee table. The setup was rather simple compared to the other companies.

"Who's inspired you throughout your life, Naruto?" He asked him.

"Well, aside from Kobe and Michel on the basketball side of it all..." He glanced at the men ,woman and his sister beside him. "...my family

That's amazing. " He said with a smile before showing a slide on his presentation. "What do you think of this, Ms. Namikaze " .

She looked at the picture of a shoe, which had her favorite color. The woman nodded and smiled.

"Oooh, I love it. Especially the color." She replied.

"I'm glad you love it. It's a Mothers' Day colorway for a possible signature line in naruto 's name."

Naruto 's eyebrow raised at the statement. "What?"

"Oh, right. We want to make a signature shoe. A brand under your name. "

Naruto couldn't believe it. The other brands never offered the opportunity to let him have a signature shoe. He assumed that was the case since they had dozens of athletes under their name...while Puma only had a select few.

"These other companies...they probably see you as just another name to go along with the hundreds of others to make them more money. they want you only because you are in the nba and more eyes will be on their product. But I want you because of your story...your attitude...your character. You."

Naruto took in is words as Bjørn continued

"We want you to be yourself on and off the court. Be yourself when designing your sneaker. Have something you and your fans would like so they could be inspired as well."

None of the bigger companies had genuine words like he did. Theirs seemed like something rehearsed for other athletes. Puma was keeping it real.

"so how about 40/4 "Bjørn said

Naruto didn't understand at first what he meant. Neither did his mother. John was the only one that reacted with a surprised look.

"40/4?"naruto asked

"Four years, 40 million dollars. About 10 million a year. And I'll throw in 5 million up front if you sign right now."

the room was silent. Kushina put her hands over her mouth after hearing the amount while Naruto was baffled. that was way more than what the other brands offered. a lot more.

Naruto looked to John , wondering if he was going to offer his take on it. It was all up to naruto so the man simply smiled and tilted his head. He thought it was a really good offer

"Wow...then yes." He stammered a bit. "Y-yes, this is great!"

Bjørn was elated and they soon started signing papers. after it was done, Naruto stood up and Bjørn did as well. they shook hands.

"welcome to the puma family "

He packed up his things and they expected him to leave right away. But before he did, he started writing in a checkbook that he brought out of his coat pocket.

"I did not forget." He said then handed Kushina the check. naruto looked at him with an arched brow

"What's that for?" Naruto asked, turning to face Bjørn and not seeing his mother's shocked face.

"its the 5 million I said I will give"

his whole family was on verge of tears

Naruto - "thank you "

Bjørn smiled and left ,the whole family were so happy

Kushina -" this ,this is so good dattbane ! "she covered her mouth immediately

John - "dattabane"he asked curiously and Kushina hid her face in embaresment

"hahaha"everyone started laughing and soon Kushina joined them too

this was a dream day after all.
