Kapitel 12: Chapter 11: Conflict

Somewhere in the land of Water.

The Fuji Clan head was having a meeting with the Toru Clan head, Hiroyuki and Ryu respectively.

They were currently inside a private booth, in a restaurant called Tensun's seafood delight.

In a town called Torogawa, a slightly inland town.

Although Shinobi Clans had a supernatural force, allowing them to grow faster, stronger, and exhibit and wield power beyond an ordinary man's mind.

It was an unwritten rule that shinobi would not involve themselves with the civilians.

They can own business but they should never harm a civilian that doesn't have ways to defend themselves.

It's beneath them to do so, unless that person was publicly slandering them then the fool wouldn't exist past a day.

Leading to a situation where civilians would stay out of shinobi matters, and shinobi wouldn't bother civilians.

The town with greater income, or specialties are usually owned singularly or split by major clans, luckily Torogawa didn't have many specialties allowing Yua Clan, Toru Clan, and the Fuji Clan to have stake in the town.

However, the overlords of this town have just now been reduced to two from the original three.

It's been more than two weeks since the last update from the Yua Clan, and the members they had sent to exterminate the remains of the Karatachi clan have not yet come back.

They sent envoys to the Yua Clan compound, however, within the day they had came back claiming that the Yua Clan had been destroyed

"If only the Yua Clan had told us the whereabouts of the Karatachi clan we wouldn't be so passive right now," said the Fuji Clan head, Hiroyuki as he clenched the hand rest of his seat a little too hard, causing it to deformed under his grip.

"Well we didn't expect the remaining clanmen of the Karatachi clan to be so capable of not only retaliating against some of our best shinobi, but also exterminating the Yua Clan with not a single survivor escaping." replied the Toru's Clan head, Ryu.

"Damn it, Damn IT!!!" Hiroyuki yelled all he vented his anger onto the table causing a portion of his side to break off in a chunk, "We're sitting ducks, we don't know where they are but they definitely know where we are."

"We've already sent people to investigate any trace of them leaving or approaching the Yua Clans compound; however, it is as if they disappeared from thin air. They must have covered their tracks well."

"That's impossible! Considering how many people they need to wipe out the Yua Clan, and since there were barely any remains of the Yua Clan members that meant, they either perfectly disposed of every single corpse, or they took it with them."

"You're right, with that much traveling it's hard to not leave any traces. Luckily we can assume that they were hurting badly, since it's been six months since the extermination of the Yua Clan."

"Those rats, hiding in the dark, we don't know their situation for all we know they could be licking their wounds and we can't do anything about it."

Nodding, Ryu took a look at the red faced Hiroyuki and shook his head mentally as the man in front of him was really incapable.

The man had a huge frame, filled with muscles, but it seemed that his head was all but muscle.

The previous clan head of the Fuji Clan was an elite Jonin ninja few could match him.

The Toru Clan had no problems being a subordinate clan to the Fuji Clan as all their clan heads were really exceptional.

With the Fuji clan spearheading operation the Toru Clan would ride its tail coat and enjoy the benefits that came with being their subordinate.

Times have changed, as indicated by the buffoon in front of him as the man was not even at chunin levels.

A couple of years after the attack on the Karatachi Clan, the Fuji Clan leader had died of an illness.

It was too strange as he went from a healthy man to a sickly appearance, nothing but bones within sick months.

Ryu could only think of one thing,

'Poison'

The buffoon in front of him had poisoned his own father, and is leading the downfall of the Fuji Clan.

In recent years, the Fuji Clan had shifted from producing shinobi, to becoming more like corrupt merchants.

Allowing the Toru Clan to tear off their relationship of being a subordinate clan to the Fuji Clan as it brought more harm than benefits.

The Fuji Clan couldn't do anything about it, as all their capable members became more older, reaching the end of their prime as a ninja.

They had no one noteworthy in their younger generation.

After all, everyone went and became a merchant.

Ryu was certain that the Karatachi was hurt after exterminating the Yua Clan.

Afterall, why wait six months, if you are able to wipe the Yua Clan onesidely why not eliminate the Fuji, and Toru Clan as well.

This thought led Ryu to believe that the Karatachi Clan was evenly matched with the Yua Clan.

As a result of their fight they suffered massive losses.

So he wasn't going to stay passive, not with the Yua Clan gone.

There was no one to stop them from enjoying this slab of meat in front of him.

'That's right, how long has it been, it doesn't matter, a couple of minutes more won't hurt.'

Ryu eyed the tea cup that Hiroyuki had been sipping from time to time.

They sat in silence, enjoying the tea that was served.

Knock

Knock

'A little soon, but it'll do.'

There was a knock to door, both the leaders, looked to the door, as Ryu took the initiative,

"Come in."

A shinobi wearing the Toru clan symbol, a triangle with a line going through it.

The shinobi who came in had marks of battle on him, his clothes slightly disheveled.

The shinobi saluted his Clan head ignoring the Fuji Clan head, "Lord it's been done."

Ryu nodded, while the veins of Hiroyuki bulged, at the blatant disrespect of being ignored, "You impude—"

Hiroyuki started to cough violently as he tried to reprimand the shinobi for not giving him proper respects.

Coughing blood, Hiroyuki tried to get help from Ryu.

However, seeing the calm expression and slight rise of Ryu's eyes of

Hiiroyuki realized,

'This bastard poisoned me!'

"You bastard, how dare you!" yelled Hiroyuki as he tried to grab Ryu.

Moving his hand to Ryu he froze, just before reaching Ryu's neck, he collapsed onto the table.

Blooding exiting the seven orifices in his head.

Looking at Hiroyuki with disgust, Ryu used his sleeve to cover the disgusting smell that was being emitted by the blood.

Ryu turned to his subordinate, "No one was spared from his entourage"

The shinobi nodded before adding, "None were spared."

"Good, we'll attack the Fuji Clan tonight, is everything prepared?"

"Yes, Clan head, we simply await your presence and command."

"Make sure to compensate the owner for the disturbances."

—-----------------

Ritsu was eyeing the child in front of him, it was attempting to walk on its own.

The baby had light brown hair, and pink iris however there was a black pupil.

Because of the 'two' conflicting lineages in the baby's genes.

The whole clan knew of this half child abomination, born from a Karatachi Clans woman whose condition is unknown.

Luckily a woman from the captives had gone missing around the same time it would for a child to be born.

The father of the child slain by the young lord, Ritsu.

At least that's how the story goes, Ritsu recalled reading or watching scenes, where Uzumaki members would hide their hair color, and eyes using fuinjutsu.

It worked, however, Ritsu had to go through quite a bit of 'material', to get the desired effect he wanted.

Everyone wanted to kill Takao at first but Ritsu's adamant stance that Karatachi members will not look down upon any Karatachi no matter how thin the blood may be.

The clan accepted the verdict, with a reluctant atmosphere.

'Seeing the stance of the Clan, Ritsu pushed back his plan on allowing intermarriage.'

Seeing Takao fall over, Ritsu pulled himself out of his thoughts, he eyed the report he had in his hands.

"He should have made a move by now." muttered Ritsu

When Ritsu first 'persuaded' the initial ninjas from the three clan alliance, he asked them about their history.

Most importantly the actions their Clan head takes.

One thing that caught Ritsu's interest was that the Toru clan took a whole six years after they attacked the Karatachi Clan, till they broke off from the Fuji Clan.

The danger notification was using updated information, rather than the information at the time.

When they attacked the Karatachi Clan, the Toru Clan were still subordinate to the Fuji clan, however a whole six years later they separated after the Fuji Clan leader died of an illness within a year.

Ritsu would have assumed that the current head of the Toru clan had poisoned that old man, however, through his cursed subordinate from the Toru Clan, he learned that the Toru Clan head is very cautious and conservative.

Through the singular Fuji cursed subordinate he was told that the current Fuji Clan head is a very wanton, corrupt merchant, whose strength isn't even at the Chunin stage.

So Ryu was a cautious man who stuck to benefits.

So before attacking the Yua compound, Ritsu told his clansmen to burn or store any corpses they came across in storage scrolls, that Ritsu had made beforehand over the years.

When they ran out of space or scrolls they were to dispose of the corpses in any way possible.

It would lead the people who found the ruins of the Yua Clan compound wondering what had happened, and what the situation of the battle was.

After all, they can't tell how badly damaged the Karatachi Clan was if there weren't any bodies.

They got rid of the corpses from the Yua Clan to prevent any autopsy, afterwards they simply destroyed more of the compound, burning what they could.

Of course not till they raided the place of its jutsu, knowledge, and wealth.

This was to make a situation that didn't allow for any information to be presented to the remaining two clans.

That coupled with the fact that they had not made a move in six months allowed the enemy to make assumptions.

Luckily although Ryu is cautious his ambitions and disgust for working with the declining Fuji clan superseded it.

If not Ritsu had Kaz infiltrate their compounds placing inactive explosion tags, all it took was for Ritsu to teleport an active tag that would activate all inactive explosion tags.

If the Toru clan didn't make a move then he would explode the tags in their compounds first, hopefully making them cautious of the Fuji Clan.

Of course just an explosion wouldn't be enough to make them suspicious so Ritsu stationed shinobi at the town occupied by the alliance to spread rumors the Fuji clan had attacked the Toru Clan.

Thus creating tension to both clans.

Ritsu planned to blow the Fuji clan's compound once the Toru clan attacks, he will explode them both first.

That was the plan, but now it seemed that it was unnecessary.

Ryu had moved preemptively to eliminate the Fuji Clan.

It was sooner than what Ritsu had thought, he simply shrugged aside the fact that since the Karatachi hadn't made a move in the past six months, it must have swayed Ryu to make a move.

Of course Ritsu had stationed some members to keep watch in the town.

He gave them a scroll that would teleport anything that was placed on top of it when unfurled, and imbued with chakra.

The item would teleport to an array on his desk.

Unfortunately they were one time use as the scroll would burn after activating the array.

The report he had received just an hour ago after a servant he placed to keep watch of the array, informed of the letter.

The letter stated that the Fuji Clan and the Toru Clan had met up at a diner however, the Toru Clan head had left four hours ago and the Fuji Clan seems to have not left the building.

'Safe to say they died there.'

Well I guess it should be about time, Ritsu rised up from his position called for a servant to take care of Takao as he order Rinku who is always by his side to gather all capable shinobi in the compound.

—--------------

'It's been six month huh?' a figure was lost in thoughts as he went around gathering all capable shinobi, those from the Karatachi and the Yua Clan.

He eyed his people he would see from time to time, they were properly clothed, they had proper roofing, and good food.

They were servants but the way they were treated was nothing compared to how badly his clan had treated their captives.

If it wasn't for the three seals that were placed onto his Clan member bodies he would have figured that they were visiting an ally clan.

'No that devil has something in mind for us, I just don't know what.'

Shaking his thoughts, Rinku speeds up the process, till he gathers all shinobi heading back to his place besides the devil.

They were in a meeting house.

It was small compared to the Yua Clan's meeting house, it was cramped inside, yet no one made a fuss.

'Oh how we have fallen.'

I will try and post every Monday hopefully.
