Kapitel 78: Chapter 78:- Hokage Candidate
Naruto was about to, but then he stopped. "Karin, I need you to wrap your arms around my neck; otherwise, I won't be able to move at my full speed." With a red face, Karin did what he told her. As she wrapped her arms around his neck, she felt her boob pressing against his body. This made her even more embarrassed.
'This is so embarrassing...!!' Right now, Karin's facial color is the same as the color of her Hair.
"Hold on, tight....!!" Saying that Naruto started moving.
"Mom, I am going to move at full speed. Do you need any help here?" Naruto asked before leaving them.
"It's alright." Kushina wasn't having any issues carrying Yuna. After all, it was her clone that was doing everything in her place.
"Then I will see you all in the village."
Chakra Stat Transmutation!!!
Naruto converted 『2,500 +』 of his chakra into Agility.
This made his current agility rise to『2,709+』.
Within a few seconds, Naruto disappeared from their view.
"Alright, everyone, it's time to pick our speed as well." The three girls firmly nodded their heads.
Meanwhile, Karin suddenly felt that everything around her had become blurry. This frightened her. In the end, Karin held onto Naruto as her life depended on it.
With Naruto's speed, it took him only one hour to return to the village. Once he was in front of the village, he finally stopped.
"We are here.....!!" His words caused Karin to open her eyes.
As Naruto put her down, Karin started looking at the Massive Village before her.
'This is the first time I have seen this many people in one place.' Karin thought in her mind.
'So this is Konoha....!!' Karin could see the faces of all the Hokage. It was like all the Hokage were watching over the whole village.
'One of them is Naruto's dad.....!!' Karin thought to herself.
Karin instantly loved her new home.
"Come on, I will take you home." Saying that, Naruto grabbed her hand.
As he was about to pass by the entrance, someone called him out.
It was one of the two gatekeepers.
"Naruto, mind telling us who is this new visitor?" After all, she wasn't someone from this village.
It was Kotetsu Hagane who asked Naruto this question.
Kotetsu has long, spiky black hair and dark eyes. A strip of bandage runs across the bridge of his nose, and he has a light-colored marking on his chin. He wore the standard attire of a Konoha shinobi, which included a forehead protector with Konoha's symbol on it and a flak jacket.
"Well, her name is Karin Uzumaki." Hagane nodded his head.
"From now on, she is going to live here."
"Well, that's good, but make sure to report this to Lord Hokage." After all, if it was an ordinary citizen, then there wasn't any need to report this to the Hokage. But she was one of the last remaining members of the legendary Uzumaki clan. This was an important matter that needed to be reported to the Hokage.
"Mom and the rest of my teammates are on their way. Once they arrive, we will meet the Old man." Saying that, Naruto walked inside with Karin.
Meanwhile, Hagane looked at Naruto and Karin's back and wondered. "I wonder just how powerful the Son of lord 4th is."
"Well, from what I have heard, he is pretty strong. He was the strongest academy student. Rumor has it that in this Chunin exam, Lord Hokage plans to promote him to the rank of a Chunin." It was Hagane's mate, Izumo Kamizuki, who said these words.

"You're overestimating him," Hagane said while smiling.
"Who knows? I am sure he won't definitely become the 5th. But maybe when it's time to take the 6th position, he will be the one to step up. After all, don't forget that Naruto's dad, Lord 4th, also became the Hokage when he was 20. Lord 4th is the youngest Shinobi to become the Hokage. Maybe Naruto will break his record."

Another hour and a half later, Kushina and the rest of team 7 returned to the village.
"You three, good job on this mission."

But this new system was computer-based. It kept a record of every transaction, which saved a lot of time.
"I am going to take you to Konoha Hospital." Yuna's health was most important right now, so Kushina took her directly to the hospital. Kushina wanted her to be thoroughly checked to see if she had any other problems besides severe depletion in the life force.
As for Sakura, Sarada, and Hanabi, they also decided to return home for the day since it was late evening.

After Yuna was admitted into the hospital, Kushina left a clone to watch over everything while the real Kushina went to the Hokage to report everything.

"Come in.....!!" Opening the door, Kushina saw Hiruzen. The Hokage hat was lying on his desk.
"Old man, there are some important things that I need to discuss with you," Kushina said after closing the door.
"Is it about the Uzumaki clan member that Naruto brought back with him?" Hiruzen asked.
"It's not about that. It's about the Hidden Grass Village." Seeing the serious look on Kushina's face, Hiruzen knew something bit must have happened.
"What happened?"
"It's about the Sokage of their Village." Kushina sat down and started explaining everything that happened.
Sigh....!!
Hearing everything, Hiruzen sighed while rubbing his head.
"So, how do you want this matter to be resolved?" Hiruzen asked since it involved Kushina.
He knew that money was the last thing that Kushina needed or was after.
"I want the Sokage Tatsuya to suffer," Kushina said in a very cold tone. She did not care what method Hiruzen used to torment him, but she wanted him to suffer for as long as he lived.
"Alright, I understand." Hiruzen nodded his head. As the professor, Hiruzen knew what he needed to do. As the Hokage, he used many methods to torment the Sokage.
Kushina was about to leave, but she stopped at the door. "One more thing, old man, you better not be soft when dealing with the Sokage."
The main problem with Hiruzen was that he was too soft. One of the reasons why other villages nowadays underestimate Konoha is because of his soft attitude towards other Villages.
"Alright, I understand." Hiruzen also knew that his being too soft was his kindness. He decided to listen to Kushina's words. For a long time, the Sokage has been doing outrageous things, but Hiruzen has given him enough chances to correct his mistakes, but this is the end of it.
"Kushina, there is one more thing that I wanted to let you know."
"After the end of the upcoming Chunin exam, I am planning on stepping down. I can't continue being the Hokage anymore." Age has caught up to him. And all the politics, stress, work, and everything about him left him just too exhausted.
"Also, I think the village needs a Fresh and young Hokage to lead them into the future. Someone as old as me cannot keep up with this changing world."
Hearing this, Kushina nodded her head. "So, who do you have in mind?" She asked for a moment of silence.
"The two most potential candidates are Jiraiya and Tsunade. Both of them have lots of contributions, and their strengths are widely known." Kushina already had expected this answer.
"You're also in the consideration." There was a chance for Kushina to become the Hokage as well if enough people voted for her. But Hiruzen knew that Kushina wasn't interested. The current Kushina was way different from the enthusiastic little girl who came to their village with the dreams of becoming the Hokage of Konoha.
But Kushina wasn't interested. "There was once a time when I wanted to be the Hokage. But now, this position has no meaning to me. So, don't include me in such things. I am happy to train team 7 and live with my son." Hearing this, Hiruzen nodded his head. He knew that this would be her answer.
He had expected this kind of response from her.
"Why not consider, Danzo?" Kushina asked.
Hiruzen shook his head. "Danzo is about the same age as me. Even if he becomes the Hokage, he won't be able to last long. Besides, his way of dealing with things is just too dark."
"If you're looking for a young Hokage, why not consider Kakashi?" Kakashi was the strongest Jonin the Village had. He had the strength to be the Kage of the Village.
"I will think about it."
Hiruzen then smiled and said. "If Naruto had only been a few years older, then he could have been the perfect candidate to be the Hokage." Whenever Hiruzen looked at Naruto, he saw the shadow of Minato in him.
"Even then, he would be too young to take on such a role." Kushina just didn't want Naruto to become busy with the Village's affairs and stop spending time with her.
"Did you forget how old Minato was when he became the Hokage of the Village?" Hiruzen asked with a smile. Only if Minato had lived would he have been the longest Hokage in the village. Maybe even the Uchiha massacre could have been prevented if Minato had been in his position.
Thinking of what happened to the Uchiha clan, Hiruzen's heart suddenly became heavy. His heart was filled with guilt. The blood of the entire clan was also in his hand. He had wiped out one of the two founding clans of Konoha. Now, the Uchiha was extinct.
As for the Senju, after the 3rd Great Shinobi War, the Senju's number had decreased by more than half. The rest of the members married outside of the clan and no longer carry the Senju name. Tsunade was the last remaining Senju of this Village.
Kushina left the Hokage office after that. She knew that Tsunade, from other candidates, had the most chances of becoming the Hokage. It was simply too wasteful for someone as strong as her to travel outside of the village and waste her life.
'Whatever, I am happy with my current life. My home is with my son.' If Kushina voted for Kakashi to be the Hokage, she knew that there would be strong chances for him to be the Hokage. After all, neither Jiraiya nor Tsunade stayed in the village. They were always outside of the village. But Kakashi, despite what he went through, never left the village. He has been faithfully fulfilling his duties.

The goal of this month is to upload at least 15 chapters. Sorry, but it's not healthy for me to upload every single day. Today, I uploaded it because I had one extra chapter in stock. This always won't be the case, but I always try to include enough time in my schedule to write a chapter for this novel.
This is why all the chapters will be 500+ words longer. I have been doing this for the past two months now. I will try to be more consistent.
