Kapitel 69: Chapter 69:- Attack
Naruto looked into her eyes while holding her chin with his thumb and index fingers. There was playful smile on his face.
Konan suddenly felt that the entire situation had been reversed. She started to feel like she had become the prey.
The prey had become the hunter!!
Roles had reversed.
She felt like a small, weak rabbit that a strong, fierce Lion pinned.
"Let me show you just how much of a man I am." Saying that, Naruto stared into her eyes while leaning forward.
Being cornered like this, the cold and brave Konan from earlier was gone.
'Is he going to....' Konan's heart was beating crazy. She thought that he was going to kiss her.
'But isn't it too early to do that....!' Konan wanted to close her eyes and give up. At least, that's what her heart was telling her.
Just when his face was a few inches away from her, Konan knew that this was wrong.
'Things are moving too fast. We just met.' Just when her hands gently reached his chest to stop him, Naruto's head moved slightly sideways.
His cheek touched her cheek as he leaned very close to her ear.
The men who were following them saw this, and to them, it looked like both of them were kissing.
"Boss, maybe we should leave them." One of the men said. He felt awkward being here.
"What are you saying? This is the perfect opportunity to end them." Hearing this, two other men walked towards them.
Naruto suddenly pressed his whole body against her. This caused Konan to feel very embarrassed. Her whole body stiffened. Her whole face, including her ears, had turned red. "Don't move...., otherwise I will bite you." Naruto playfully said to Konan
But the next second, Naruto coldly looked at the men walking towards them.
Konan also felt that the men were approaching them. But before she could push him away, she suddenly heard painful screams.
Now, Konan had become super curious. She wanted to see what happened. But Naruto wasn't letting go of her.
She realized that this was his trick to deal with the men without making a scene. Since the men were killed in an alley, for now, no one will know who did it.
"Let go of me...!!" Saying that she chose to bite his neck.
Ouch....!!!
Feeling pain, Naruto moved away from Konan while rubbing his neck.
Meanwhile, Konan was stunned to see all the men lying dead on the ground. There were crystal-shaped arrows stabbed into their foreheads. Their eyes were still open, and they were in shock.
This showed just how shocked they were when Naruto did this.
"Why are you biting me? Are you a dog?" Naruto asked in an annoyed tone while rubbing his neck. He felt like he was stung by a honey bee. Her bite had left a mark on his neck. A few seconds later, everything vanished, and Naruto stopped feeling any pain.
Right now, he was just pretending to be in pain.
Hmph.....!!!
Seeing this, Konan snorted. But she secretly felt happy seeing him in pain.
"Next time, if you get too close to me, then I will bite you again." Konan then started walking away.
"I will bite you to death." Hearing this, Naruto smiled. This whole thing was getting more and more interesting.
Naruto grabbed her wrist.
"Beauty, let's find a bed. Then we can bite each other for as long as we want." Hearing this, Konan's face turned red. She glared at him.
Naruto was about to say something, but he found that his whole body was already covered in explosive tags.
Seeing this stunned look, Konan finally felt satisfied. She was finally getting some revenge.
"What did you say just now?" She asked him again.
"Nothing...!! Nothing...!!" Naruto quickly shook his head.
Seeing this, Konan laughed. She found his reaction very funny. It wasn't a cold laugh or a mocking laugh. Rather, it was a sincere laugh filled with happiness.
'This is the first time I have seen her smile in two worlds.' Naruto had a small smile on his face as he stared at Konan.
'Don't worry, in this world, I will make sure nothing happens to you and to Nagato.' Naruto promised himself to save them.
Konan laughed for a while. But she then noticed the way Naruto was staring at her with a small smile on his face.
He wasn't afraid of being covered in explosive tags. Rather, he was smiling while staring at her.
'What is wrong with his head?' Konan thought while blushing.
'What an idiot!!!' In the end, Konan let go of Naruto.
"If you do anything funny again, I won't show any mercy." She coldly threatened him. But Naruto noticed that compared to their first conversation, her tone was much warmer. Naruto felt that he had made a nice improvement.
The Konan that he knew was very stoic. But the current Konan was different. In such a short period of time since their meeting, she had shown so many different sides of her.
'I almost forgot. I still don't know his name.' Konan suddenly realized this problem.
"What is your name?" Konan asked.
But Naruto saw this as an opportunity.
He had a teasing grin on his face. While looking next to her, he leaned forward and glanced at her face. "Oh my, it seems Miss Koneko is finally taking an interest in me."
Hearing this, Konan instantly felt that she had made a mistake asking his name.
"Hmph....!!"
She gave her classic snort before continuing. "It's okay if you don't want to say it. I don't care." She was definitely lying.
"The Name is Luffy." Konan nodded her head. She did not doubt that this name could be fake. Unknowingly, she had trusted Naruto a lot.
And Naruto also trusted her. Otherwise, how could he remain so calm despite being wrapped in explosive tags?
At the center of the City, there is a large Mansion. Even an idiot could tell that this was the place where Gato lived.
The whole Mansion was heavily guarded. There were at least a few hundred Rogue Shinobi. However, none of the rogue Shinobi were above Chunin's level. It should be an easy fight.
"So who is going first?" Naruto asked.
"There is more than enough for both of us." Saying that, Konan started running towards the first Shinobi.
"The more time I spend with her, the more I like her," Naruto said with a smirk before he disappeared.
"Enemies.....!!"
"Attack.....!!"
"Kill them...!!" All the Shinobi rushed at Konan. In the Mansion, Gato, who was peacefully having his meal, became alert to all the commotion.
Naruto and Konan started fighting the Rogue Shinobi.
As more and more rushed at her, Konan realized that she won't be able to keep her powers hidden. Even for someone like her, fighting this many Chunin rank Shinobi was going to be very tough.
Using thousands of papers, Konan created two white wings on her back. As soon as she started flying, she instantly gained an advantage. At the same time, she spread around a few thousand explosive tags.
'I hope he is okay.' Konan wasn't sure if Naruto would be able to fight this many Shinobi at the same time. So she was kind of worried. But she forgot that Naruto did not show any hint of nervousness or fear. Instead, he only sounded excited.
Meanwhile, Naruto did not show too much of his strength. He knew that if he showed too much of his powers, then Konan would really suspect him, and she would become cautious of him. This meant that she won't let her guard down around him. She will go back to being cold and stoic. He did not want this to happen.
Instead of attacking, Naruto began using 『Enthralling Gaze』.
This ability allowed him to hypnotize Chunins and make them fight on his behalf.
Naruto turned more than 10 Chunins into his puppet and then ordered them to attack other Shinobi.
The opponent side was confused seeing this. They did not know what was happening and why their own people were attacking them.
While continuing to fight, Naruto suddenly got kicked in the stomach.
"Let's increase our Number.....!!"
Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu.....!!!
Konan was stunned when more than a thousand Naruto rushed at the Shinobi. For a moment, she stopped in midair and rubbed her eyes.
"Just how much chakra does he have?" Konan asked herself.
With this many Naruto's clones possessing the Original's speed, the whole tide of the battle instantly changed.
The clones ganged on the few hundred Shinobi. At this stage, Konan felt that there wasn't even any need for her to get involved. The clones will take care of everything. Even though clones are supposed to be very weak, yet those ninjas found it extremely difficult to deal with just one of them. Not to mention, fighting a few thousand of these clones was like fighting against a Tsunami. With each wave getting stronger than the other.
Within a few minutes, the ninjas felt like they were drowning. They were being overwhelmed from all sides. The clones attacked them from all directions. Before, it was like they were on the shore facing a tsunami, it was still manageable but now it was like they were in the deep ocean and were facing giant tsunamis.
"He is so young, yet he has this huge amount of Chakra reserve. Just who is he?" Konan knew that Naruto wasn't a simple Shinobi of Konoha.
'I will need to investigate about him once I return to Hidden Rain Village.' Konan made up her mind.
Very soon, all the ninjas were lying dead on the ground. All the clones surrounded Gato's Mansion to make sure that no one is able to escape.
"You're very strong." Konan sincerely praised him.
Naruto and all of his clones grinned upon hearing this. "Beauty, have you fallen for me?"
Konan's face instantly turned red. "Like I said, don't call me that."
Hmph.....!!!
Konan ignored Naruto and walked inside the Mansion. Naruto smiled before following her inside.
'I was hoping to see him use that Crystal-type thing. I have never seen anything like this.' Konan thought to herself.
"Now that his dogs are dead. Let's deal with Gato himself." Naruto could see Gato staring at them in utter shock and disbelief. Since his clones had surrounded the entire Mansion, there was no place for him to escape. He was basically trapped.
There was nothing Gato could do other than watch as his death approached him.
"Ladies first...!!!" Naruto signaled Konan to take the lead.
He was also interested in seeing how she dealt with this situation.
Konan did not react to his words. She calmly began walking towards Gato.
"No.....!!!" Gato was in despair. Just within a few minutes, everything that he built fell. To his eyes, Konan and Naruto were grim reapers.
He tried to run away in fear, but he fell on his butt. His whole face turned ugly. His whole body was trembling.
As Konan and Naruto stood in front of Gato, the man did not know what to do. He did not want to die yet. He wanted to live.
"Don't kill me." He said in a fearful tone.
"Why shouldn't we kill you after all the horrible things that you have done?" Konan coldly asked.
Hearing this, Gato's face became uglier. "I will....pay you money. I have money."
Seeing them being silent, Gato became confident thinking that he had a chance. "How much do you need? Just tell me your price." In the end, Gato looked absolutely confident that they were going to accept his proposal.
