In the void between life and death, a solitary soul roamed aimlessly within a black and white dimension. This soul belonged to Jason, a young man who had tragically perished in a workplace accident. He had been pushed into a moving machine by a former colleague, an act that ended his life abruptly. Jason found himself contemplating the duration of his existence within this space that seemed detached from the concept of time.
"At the beginning, all I could think about was my own death and the person who took my life so maliciously," Jason pondered as he continued to navigate the dimension with no temporal reference. However, as time passed by, his thoughts about those incidents gradually diminished.
"I find myself wondering because this situation brings to mind the tales of transmigration and reincarnation. Perhaps, there's a chance I might encounter a Random Omnipotent Being (ROB) along the way," Jason mused, hopeful for a divine encounter. Unfortunately, his journey remained fruitless, devoid of any such meeting.
Unbeknownst to Jason, the very ROB he yearned to encounter had just discovered his existence within this dimension. Surprisingly, his presence caught the attention of the ROB, as this dimension had remained empty for an extended period, lacking any qualifying soul to enter its domain.
The souls capable of entering this realm possess remarkable potential for either creation or destruction in their forthcoming lives. However, for countless eons, only a few souls managed to enter this dimension. But now, one soul finds itself here. The ROB diligently observes Jason's soul as it delves deeper into the dimension, eager to witness the extent of its exploration.
As Jason's soul progresses further, an intensifying pressure descends upon it. Yet, undeterred, Jason deduces that this must be a test, drawing inspiration from the protagonists in the stories he's familiar with - anime, manga, light novels, and manhwa. He believes that the more he perseveres, the greater the rewards await him.
With this resolve and an unyielding desire for power, Jason's soul continues the arduous journey, even as the mounting pressure threatens to crush him. Losing track of time amid the unbearable strain, Jason's soul begins to shimmer, on the verge of fading out of existence. Witnessing this remarkable display, the ROB marvels at the incredible strength possessed by this young soul. Rather than allowing it to dissipate completely, the ROB summons Jason's soul into its own dimension.
"Ah, so I'm finally free," Jason exclaimed as his soul reappeared in the ROB dimension, instantly feeling the oppressive pressure dissipate. Curiosity arose within him as he pondered what awaited him as a reward for his arduous journey. He carefully surveyed his surroundings until a powerful light bathed his soul, emanating a gentle and healing sensation.
After bestowing the restorative light upon Jason's soul, the ROB made its presence known, deliberately restraining its immense power to prevent overwhelming the young soul. "Greetings, young one. I have been closely observing your journey through the prime dimension. However, when I witnessed you on the brink of erasing yourself while trying to reach the center, I intervened to save you," the ROB explained, attentively watching Jason's soul.
Initially startled, Jason gradually eased his apprehension, realizing that resisting or opposing this being would be futile. However, hearing the ROB mention the prime dimension and its rescue brought forth a burning question within him - how did he end up there instead of transitioning to the afterlife?
"I must admit, I don't possess the exact answer myself. That dimension is typically inaccessible, particularly to mortals. Yet, there is something distinct about you. Even so, that alone was not sufficient to reach the center," the ROB responded, addressing Jason's lingering query.
Jason remained unperturbed by the ROB's ability to read his thoughts, although he found it surprising that even the ROB did not have the answer to the question of why he had ended up in the prime dimension. Setting aside his curiosity for now, Jason focused his attention on the prospect of his rewards. Sensing Jason's anticipation, the ROB materialized two distinct wheels before his soul, allowing him to read and comprehend their purpose.
"Worlds and Unique Power," Jason read aloud, studying each wheel and understanding that his reward would be determined by what the wheels landed on. The ROB clarified that the unique power granted to him would be tailored to the respective world he would be transmigrating into, and Jason discovered that he recognized some of the powers and worlds depicted on both wheels. Excitement coursed through him as he resolved to move forward, prepared to ask the ROB how to initiate the spin.
However, before Jason could voice his question, both wheels began to spin on their own, seemingly in response to his thoughts. As they whirled, Jason caught a glimpse of various powers and worlds flashing before his eyes - from fictional abilities like breathing styles and devil fruits, to worlds from Medaka Box, Demon Slayer, and YuYu Hakusho. Both wheels gradually slowed down in unison until they came to a halt, revealing the powers of All for One and the world of Naruto, respectively.
Jason was filled with excitement as he prepared to enter the Naruto world, despite being aware of the potential dangers that awaited him. However, he couldn't help but feel skeptical about the inclusion of "All for One" in Naruto, considering it was a quirk-based power that didn't exist in that universe.
"Ah, All for One," Jason pondered, "seems like things are going to be a bit different here. I know quirks don't exist in Naruto, so how will this power work?" Seeking answers, he turned to the entity known as ROB, hoping for further clarification. ROB, understanding his doubts, began explaining the new functionality of All for One in this world.
"Jason, in the Naruto universe, All for One will have a different purpose," ROB started. "Instead of quirks, it will allow you to absorb others' chakra through touch. By utilizing their chakra, you'll awaken latent quirks stored within All for One. Through meditation, you can access your spiritual space, a place where you can store excess chakra. In that space, you can unlock additional quirks by channeling that chakra to feed the selected quirk. It's important to note that stronger quirks require more chakra to unlock, while weaker ones consume less. Also, your body has its limits, but those limits can expand as you grow older. It's essential to train and develop these quirks to their fullest potential."
With the explanation concluded, ROB prepared to initiate the transmigration process, and Jason's soul began to radiate with a brilliant glow. As his consciousness faded into the darkness, his soul was propelled forward through a portal created by ROB. The soul traversed through the portal and ventured into the Shinobi world, soaring above a deep forest until it arrived at the Village Hidden in the Leaves. Descending upon a training ground, it approached a small white haired boy who lay motionless.
The soul of Jason merged seamlessly with the body of the young boy, and in that moment, flashes of memories flooded his consciousness. He discovered that the boy's name was Ayan Kurai, an orphan who had left the orphanage at the tender age of two. Ayan resided alone in his old house, diligently training with the few techniques passed down by his parents.
"Uh, now I've got a headache, but I'd rather have that than go through being a baby with an adult mind," were Ayan's first words after waking up on the ground. After dusting himself off and getting back on his feet, Ayan felt a warm energy flowing through his body, accompanied by the formation of holes in his hands. "Now I'll definitely have to hide these, but wearing bandage wrap isn't unusual in this world," Ayan muttered as he started to leave the training ground, heading towards his house.
While walking through Konoha and observing the cheerful faces of villagers, the Uchiha guard force, and other ninjas bustling through the village, Ayan couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. "I'm really here in Konoha, the Village Hidden in the Leaves. Now, the first thing I need to do is access my spiritual space," Ayan thought to himself as he arrived at his small home, located near a large apartment complex. He realized that his house was actually situated close to the one Naruto lived in but quickly shrugged it off, proceeding to enter his own house.
Upon entering, Ayan noticed the modest size of his home, consisting only of a small living area and two rooms—one that belonged to him, and the other that once belonged to his deceased parents. After taking note of the layout, Ayan made his way to his room and assumed a meditative pose, deep in concentration. Gradually, his consciousness sank inward, and when he opened his eyes, he found himself in a vast expanse of red and black with a large blue pool at its center. Lines extended from the pool, leading to several holes, each varying in size.
"The blue pool must be chakra and represent All for One, and the holes must represent other quirks," Ayan stated, his voice filled with intrigue as he observed the chakra pool, noticing its division between yin and yang chakra. He also realized that whenever he focused on one of the holes, he could identify the quirk associated with it and effortlessly comprehend the type of chakra needed to unlock it.
"Alright, from what I've observed, I understand how it works. The pool stores chakra, separated by affinity, while the holes represent quirks that unlock by channeling the necessary chakra affinity," Ayan summarized, grasping the concept of his unique abilities. "Based on the pool, it seems my own chakra has a strong affinity for yin and yang, but I need to absorb the other five types," Ayan continued, exploring each hole until he discovered one larger than even All For One's chakra pool. Ayan was stunned by this discovery, understanding that the ROB must have created this quirk as he had never encountered anything like it in the show. However, Ayan couldn't contain his excitement, realizing that it was a world-traveling quirk.
"Hmm, it appears I can travel to other worlds, but activating it will require an immense and special chakra source like the Ten Tails," Ayan analyzed the large hole, simultaneously noticing another one representing a world storage quirk. "It seems I can take this entire world with me if I activate it, but that will have to wait for later. Now, I need to choose which quirks to activate using the stored chakra," Ayan declared, returning to the other holes, carefully considering which quirks would best assist him in his current situation.
"Since I only possess yin and yang chakra and still require training, I should select quirks that aid in recovery and allow me to keep up with clan-born ninja," Ayan concluded, determining which quirks he would open with the yin and yang chakra stored in the All For One pool. After careful consideration, Ayan decided that the amount of yin and yang chakra available in the pool would be sufficient to unlock two quirks that were emitters or a single quirk akin to a transformation or mutation quirk.
"Transformation or mutation quirks are out of the question since this village would detain, study, and exploit me. So, I have made my decision: Cell Activation and Overclock. Cell activation, which requires yang chakra, will enhance my training speed and recovery, while overclock, fueled by yin chakra, will boost my perception and thinking speed without being noticeable," Ayan thought, focusing his chakra towards the corresponding holes representing these quirks. As he directed the chakra, Ayan felt changes in the center of his head, with two chakra points morphing into the quirk centers for these abilities. The chakra flow closed off, waiting for his activation.
"I can feel them, and they already seem instinctual in how to activate, but I know I need to train and refine them to reach their full potential," Ayan thought after completing the process, also noting that the All For One pool was now empty. Waking up from his meditative state, Ayan realized that night had fallen while he was within his spiritual space. Placing his hand on his own arm, Ayan activated All For One, depleting his own chakra network until it was nearly empty.
"Yes, I can absorb my own chakra, but it barely made a difference. That earlier chakra must have been a gift from ROB, like a starter pack. Being able to absorb my own chakra helps fill the pool and nurtures my natural chakra reserves," Ayan acknowledged, making his way to the bed and using the last of his chakra to activate cell activation over his entire body. This accelerated his recovery as he fell asleep from chakra exhaustion. The next day, upon awakening, Ayan checked the condition of his body and noticed his full chakra reserves, as well as the absence of soreness in his joints or limbs. He was ecstatic to witness the effects of a brief, full-body cell activation usage.
"Now that I feel refreshed, I can devise a plan for the next few years. Firstly, I'll continue training. Secondly, if I come across Naruto, I will befriend him. I can become his best friend, assist him in training, and discreetly absorb his chakra in the process. With his substantial reserves, combined with the power of the Nine-Tails, and knowing his attributes are wind and yang, I can potentially unlock air-related quirks and body-related quirks," Ayan contemplated, preparing himself to leave the house for the day.
Before stepping out, Ayan paused in front of a mirror, finally getting a glimpse of his altered appearance. He immediately noticed his white hair, reddish eyes, and slightly pale skin—a fusion resembling Tobirama Senju and All For One before his face had been smashed in. "At least I still look handsome, but I hope this won't cause me any trouble," Ayan mused, finishing up wrapping his hands and forearms with bandages. He then proceeded to leave his house and make his way through the village, utilizing the memories of the former Ayan.
Along the way, Ayan spotted a blond-haired boy walking towards a pier by a pond. Recognizing Naruto and witnessing the judgmental looks he received from the villagers and ninjas simply for his presence, Ayan couldn't help but empathize with Naruto's plight and vowed to protect him from being used and manipulated by the village.
Ayan understood that he would eventually have to reveal his abilities to Naruto, as he had plans to take this world with him and thought having Naruto as his partner in another world would be great. Ignoring the villagers' looks and judgment, Ayan walked over to Naruto and led him to the pier.
Naruto sat alone on the pier, as he frequently did, pondering why nobody in the village liked him and questioning why they labeled him a demon. "What did I ever do to them to be treated like this?" Naruto thought, believing he was alone. To his surprise, he heard a response. "You did nothing, they're just being stupid. Don't let their ignorance bring you down," spoke a voice from behind Naruto. Startled, he turned around to see a boy his age, with red eyes and white hair, smiling at him.
"Are you talking to me?" Naruto asked, searching for others around them. He was accustomed to being ignored by everyone except his grandfather and the owners of the ramen shop. "You're the only one out here, and I did answer your question, even if you didn't really ask it to me," replied the white-haired boy. Naruto couldn't believe that there was another child willing to talk to him, given that every child he tried to interact with either had their parents pull them away or returned the next time calling him a demon.
While Naruto pondered this, the white-haired boy, now known as Ayan Kurai, approached and sat beside him on the pier, extending his hand towards Naruto. "Hi, my name is Ayan Kurai. What's your name?" greeted Ayan. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki," responded Naruto, reaching out to shake Ayan's hand, tears welling up in his eyes. He saw no hatred or disgust in Ayan's eyes, which touched him deeply.
"Well, nice to meet you, Naruto. And you did nothing wrong. These people are simply ignorant and using you as a target for their fears and anger," explained Ayan compassionately. Naruto wiped his face, stunned by Ayan's words. Meanwhile, the villagers watched from a distance, engaging in conversations among themselves. One of the two ANBU responsible for monitoring Naruto spoke up. "We should inform Lord Hokage about this," suggested one of the ANBU agents to their partner. However, the silver-haired ANBU shook his head and replied, "We'll inform Lord Hokage during the shift change. For now, let them be."
The silver-haired ANBU watched as Ayan conversed with Naruto, shaking hands. He was astonished by the boy's observation about the villagers. Back with Ayan and Naruto, they continued their conversation about the villagers. Naruto, seeking answers he couldn't find from his grandfather or the ramen shop owners, asked, "But why do they fear and hate me, Ayan? I have never done anything to them. There have only been three people who have been kind to me, well, four now.
Ayan understood Naruto's point of view but was aware that the ANBU could be listening to their conversation, so he carefully chose his words. "Naruto, I can't explain why the villagers seem to hate you, but I can tell you that people often hate what they don't understand. It's okay to be misunderstood because there will always be those who understand and appreciate you. And it sounds like you have a new ally in me," Ayan said cautiously, aware of the potential consequences.
"If you want them to stop hating you, then become strong. The strong are respected and understood. My goal is to be the strongest in the world so that no one will ever misunderstand me. Come train with me, join me on the path to strength, Naruto," Ayan declared, his determination shining in his eyes. Naruto was taken aback by Ayan's speech, but he began to contemplate it. He remembered his grandfather talking about the Hokage being the strongest in the village, respected by everyone. Ayan's words made him realize that if he became the strongest in the world, he would earn the respect of everyone.
"Ayan, I used to think that being the strongest in the village and becoming Hokage would earn me the respect of the villagers. But hearing about your goal, my ambitions seem small. So, I will become the strongest in the world and be the Hokage, believe it!" Naruto proclaimed, meeting Ayan's determined gaze with his own. Ayan smirked upon hearing Naruto's response, extending his right hand with a clenched fist.
"I definitely believe you can become Hokage. But as for the strongest in the world, sorry, Naruto, that's going to be me. Looks like we're rivals," Ayan said, his smile directed at Naruto. Naruto, hearing Ayan's words and seeing his outstretched fist and smile, extended his right fist to bump against it in response. "Yeah, we're rivals, Ayan. Watch, I will become Hokage and surpass you as the strongest in the world. You can be the second strongest," Naruto declared, a broad grin forming on his face. Finally, he had a friend and a rival.
After their exchange, Naruto gladly accepted Ayan earlier offer of training. They followed Ayan to his usual training grounds, with the ANBU discreetly monitoring their activities. The silver-haired ANBU was pleased to see Naruto finally making a friend who sparked his interest in training.
Ayan and Naruto continued their physical training and sparring until the sun started to set, signaling the end of their session. They began making their way home together, and Naruto couldn't contain his excitement about having a friend living close by. "Ayan, I didn't know you lived so close! I wonder why I've never seen you around before today," Naruto exclaimed, realizing that he had never come across Ayan before.
"Well, I usually train from sun up to sun down at the previous training spot, getting there before sunrise. But today, I had a later start and happened to see you on my way to training," Ayan explained as they prepared to part ways. However, he noticed a hint of sadness on Naruto's face. Ayan offered a solution, saying, "If you'd like, you can come over to eat. I only have rice and instant noodles, but I'm willing to share."
Naruto's happiness was mixed with uncertainty. He hesitantly asked, "Will your parents be okay with that?" Since he was accustomed to other children's parents keeping them away from him, Naruto often felt isolated.
Ayan reassured him by saying, "I'm sure it will be okay. My parents are dead, so I live alone in the house they left behind." Naruto was taken aback by this revelation, realizing that he had found someone in a similar position to himself. With that reassurance, Naruto no longer hesitated and accepted Ayan's invitation. They went to Ayan's house for dinner, and afterward, Naruto returned to his own apartment.
Meanwhile, the ANBU who had been watching Naruto throughout the day prepared for a shift change, knowing they had to report the day's events to the Hokage. Unbeknownst to them, another group of ninjas known as Root was also reporting the same events to their leader.
Hey Author here
Well this is the first chapter of the restart. I've taken sometime off writing and worked on my first idea. All for One in naruto, with the quirk having been adjusted slightly to fit the world but nowhere near last time quirk creation level. The plan for the main character is neither bad nor good but trying to find the right balance of both from using others but also helping others. However the world will be conquered due to more plans involving it later.
