"I truly wish for your happiness, Sakura. You have just succeeded in driving away the one man who ever loved you." Sasuke Said.

"I'm sorry. To tell you the truth, I did not intend it." Sakura replied.

Sasuke started walking in the same direction that Naruto was running.

"I'll check on him, and I really hope he isn't in that much trouble. I have faith that you will recognise what you have accomplished, Sakura. Because I am certain that you will come to lament your decision in the future." Sasuke Said

Sasuke chased after Naruto in the vain hope of reuniting with him. Sakura, who was troubled and feeling guilty, was left behind.

(Place, the Hokage Mountain Range)

Naruto was perched atop the Fourth's head at the time. He was sobbing uncontrollably while balling himself up into a ball. Distraught over the fact that Sakura had attempted to get rid of the gift he had given her.

"Why *sniff**sniff* would she do this to me...., what have I done to deserve this...., all I did was get her a gift and ask her out, and she calls me a monster!" "What have I done to deserve this...., all I did was get her a gift and ask her out, and she calls me a monster!" Naruto cried silently inside his own head "Why? ..., Why? ..., Why? ..., Why?" Naruto questioned his own identity with the phrase "Hey, dobe." When Naruto turned around, he saw Sasuke approaching from behind him.

"What's up, Teme?" Sasuke was worried about his biological brother, Naruto, and greeted him with a cold greeting before turning his attention back to the village. He sat down next to Naruto with the intention of bringing the blonde Jinchuriki some solace.

"I am aware of the distress you are feeling. It's pointless to try to hide it because I can see it right through you." Sasuke Admitted His Guilt

"Why Sasuke?

..., I don't understand why she treats me like this. The only thing I do for her is love and comfort her, and this is how she repays me?" When Naruto looked down at the village below him, he asked "Although Sakura can be a pain at times, you have no choice but to ignore her when it comes to Naruto. Do you really want to put yourself through all of this anguish simply because you love her so much?" Sasuke Asked "But I can't let go Sasuke. Simply put, my love for Sakura-Chan is excessive. I don't ever want to give up on being with her. She is extremely important to me." Naruto Returned an Answer "Naruto, you should know that there are a lot of other girls in the world. Examples include Tenten, Ino, and Hinata; additionally, don't overlook Temari as a viable option." Sasuke reminded Naruto "Yes, but Ino and the rest of the girls in the village hold a deep-seated animosity towards me, Tenten is in constant demand for her services, and for some unknown reason, Hinata develops a fever whenever she is in close proximity to me. Additionally, Temari resides in Sand, and she seldom comes to Konoha." Naruto Replied "CRAP! I believed that would help him feel a little bit better." Sasuke was thinking "But Naruto. You can't always expect Sakura to yell at you or insult you no matter what you do. You have no choice but to move on; just when I thought I would never get over the loss of my clan, I realised I had to pick up the pieces and move on with my life." Saying, "Yeah, but I just can't, I don't know why but I can't," Sasuke responded. The words "I guess I never meant to be loved at all" were Naruto's response. "That's not true," Naruto correctly guessed. Sasuke replied, "How about we get some practise in? That will most likely be of assistance to you." "Yeah, I guess so, Teme," Sasuke offered as a suggestion to Teme. After Naruto's reply, both of the boys stood up and began walking in the direction of the training grounds.

(While this was going on, back at the bridge) Sakura was resting her elbows on a rail. She is contemplating the information that Naruto Sasuke and her sensei have just given her.

(A flashback takes place a few minutes after Naruto and Sasuke have left) Sakura pursued Sasuke as he ran in the direction of Naruto while she attempted to stop him.

"SASUKE-KUN WAIT!" Sakura "SASUKE-KUN!" they yelled, but it was already too late; Sasuke had already run off to find Naruto so that he could try to console him. Sakura Shouted again, "Naruto, please forgive me; I said that without any malice." "That's not what it sounded like to me," Sakura remarked to herself in her head. Said a figure behind Sakura

When Sakura turned around, she saw her sensei waiting for her. Kakashi Hatake.

"KAKASHI-SENSEI!" Sakura yelled out in utter disbelief "What exactly was that about Sakura all about? What possessed you to say such a thing to Naruto? You are aware that he loves you, right?" "I..., I don't know what that was about, Sensei, I just got mad and-," Kakashi inquired while maintaining his composure. Kakashi severed his relationship with Sakura.

"People do get mad Sakura. But not in the manner in which you reacted to it. You gave Naruto the impression that you meant every word you said to him." In response, Kakashi said, "I know..., but I swear to you that I will make it up to him." Sakura Said

"And how do you plan to go about doing that?" Kakashi Asked

"All right, I'll apologise to Naruto, and I swear to him that I won't do it again." The question was answered by Sakura, who inquired, "And how many times did you promise that?" Kakashi Asked "…." Instead of responding, Sakura looked as though she were going to throw herself to the ground in embarrassment. She had made countless assurances to Naruto that she would treat him with more consideration, but she had never, ever shown him any kindness.

In addition to that, she is under the impression that she broke a promise made to him by her. The fact that today was very special for Naruto caused Sakura to feel guilty because she had broken something, such as a promise or some other sort of agreement.

"You see Sakura. There are times when a straightforward apology won't do the trick. There are times when you have to provide evidence." Kakashi Explained "….." "Sakura, there's an old saying to this "You don't know what you have until It's gone", remember that saying." Sakura still didn't answer because she was still ashamed of herself for hurting Naruto. "Sakura, there's an old saying to this "You don't know what you have until It's gone." The words "That's what my mom says but I still don't get what it means" were attributed to Kakashi. In response, Sakura stated, "You will find out in due time." Kakashi reported that he saw Kakashi heading in the direction of the village streets.

"Sensei, where exactly are you going?" Sakura Asked.

"It's time for me to track down Naruto. I really hope that he's okay." "Anyway, give what I said some thought, all right?" Kakashi wished. "Alright." After that, Kakashi started walking towards the village in the direction of Naruto's last known location.
