Kapitel 50: 50 CP
Konoha.
Underground Lab.
In the painted white research lab, stood Naoki with his eyes looking into a microscope, under the microscope a heart encased in a square thin film.
Despite pulled out of the body, the heart was pumping like normal as it was still in the body.
"Hmm...now the next one!"
After watching the heart through the microscope for a while, Naoki picked the clipboard near him and wrote something on it, after it replacing the heart with another one.
One by one until he had replaced nine hearts, Naoki continued to view them under the microscope and recording the details after finishing.
"I guessed right, the chakra pathways of everyone differ in width, and the main reason behind is how much the body allows chakra pathways to expand"
Thought Naoki with a gleam in his eyes, his research had finally yielded some results, some questions answered at this moment.
He viewed all the nine hearts and all differed from each other, the one with thick chakra pathways containing more chakra and the thin opposite.
And the reason why some had thick chakra pathways and some thinner was due to the space around chakra pathways, if there was no space the chakra pathways couldn't expand and stayed thinner and if there was they obviously could expand.
And the reason behind some people having less space and some more, Naoki had found that as well, from birth it was fixed for everyone and the limit for people was set already.
And those who had space to expand pathways couldn't do it easily, only with hard training could do so, there bodies becoming stronger and more cell division increasing chakra as a result but even that will reach a point of end.
Though he hadn't viewed the pathways of someone from famous clans, but he was sure from birth they had more space to expand, probably due to there special bloodlines.
On bloodlines his research is still zero at the moment and it was something that wasn't so urgent for him, so he had left it for later.
His main focus now was to find out why some had low chakra and some had high and why ninjutsu talent differed.
And he had got answers for both, those with thinner pathways had less smother chakra flow, resulting in difficulty of utilising chakra to practice and master ninjutsu and it was opposite for those with thick chakra pathways.
ROOM-
"I'm different, probably the only case like this in the world!"
Finding the reason, Naoki quickly opened room and after cutting his arm and dissecting , he put it under the microscope and again checked his chakra pathways, seeing the situation smiling.
His chakra pathways had an abnormal amount of space to expand and he has been training his body, yet they broke the universal rule and didn't expand, Naoki not panicking at this and smiling, able to guess the reason.
Devil Fruit!
It was the devil fruit that changed his constitution and already at such a young age trained his body to the point few adult shinobi could.
Humans before the arrival of Kaguya Otsutsuki didn't have chakra but when Hagoromo passed chakra to others, a whole pathway was created just like blood vessels.
The CP (Chakra Pathways) at the root were also a product of chakra, the devil fruit was able to change Naoki's constitution but not CP as they were two different powers, both resisting each other.
Such an abnormal space to expand was created by the devil fruit and some of it's energy was still lingering in that space, resulting in CP refusing to contact that energy, not coming near it and as a result not expanding.
"But definitely it's not the case that these two powers can't coexist otherwise I won't be able to utilize ope ope no mi through chakra as well!"
"Or it may be because that chakra is under my control but not CP, just like I have no control of veins carrying my blood, it's the same for this!"
Concluded Naoki with a thoughtful face, thinking about this situation to come up with a way from every angle.
"I guess that's the only way, I need to expand the CP forcefully through surgery, others would find it suicide but I can do miracles but first let's practice a little at them!"
Finally after thinking for a long time, Naoki could only come with a single way, using the power of ope ope no mi to try dissecting his CP and expanding them from the inside.
But just in case, he first decided to try his hand on a few guinea pigs, gazing at the hearts lying around with a smile on his face.
"Huh?"
Quickly Naoki reattached his arm back and got to work, picking a heart and placing it before him, a kumo chunin in the hospital suddenly trembling, a look of discomfort on his face.
