Kapitel 99: Appearance

The air in the forest trembled as Chen, with a defiant smile, proclaimed: "Since the Four-Tails has made its appearance, how could I stay behind? Tenseigan Summoning Technique!"

Fwoosh!

Chen planted his hand on the ground, and complex seals glowed intensely, spreading in a pattern.

Rumble!

The earth split, and from it emerged a colossal stone statue, its silhouette eclipsing even the imposing figure of Son Gokū.

Whoosh!

Without wasting a moment, the statue raised its titanic fist and smashed it against Son Gokū with a devastating force that made the entire forest tremble.

Thud!

Son Gokū fell under the demolishing impact.

The statue, relentless, crawled towards the fallen Bijū, initiating a combat that made the surrounding trees seem tiny.

Chen, now wrapped again in Marasa's glowing Susanoo, addressed the remaining Jinchūriki.

"Beasts, if you don't emerge now, I'll eliminate your Jinchūriki without hesitation."

Faced with the imminent threat, the Five-Tails and Han reached an instant agreement.

"ROOOOAR"

In a burst of chakra, Kokuō manifested in all its majesty.

One-Tail, responding to its Jinchūriki's call, also made its appearance. However, to Chen's surprise, Shukaku didn't show its usual arrogance.

Shukaku's massive body stood firmly, its eyes shining with unusual determination. Despite its reputation for being boastful and quarrelsome, Shukaku demonstrated that it wasn't foolish in the face of real danger.

Chen observed Shukaku, a playful smile on his face. At that moment, he felt a strange sympathy for the one-tailed beast.

"Shukaku," he said innocently, "I've heard from the Nine-Tails that the power of the beasts is measured by the number of tails. Could it be that your single tail makes you the weakest?"

BOOM!

Shukaku's fury exploded like a volcano.

"Damn lying fox!" roared Shukaku. "This tanuki is not the weakest, you idiot!"

Chen smiled, knowing well that Shukaku was not, in fact, the weakest. The three, six, and seven-tailed beasts occupied that place. Shukaku might even surpass the two-tails in strength.

However, among those present, Shukaku was the least powerful, with the Five-Tails, Kokuō, as the most formidable.

Poof!

A clone of Chen appeared, taking control of the Susanoo. Chen, freed from his avatar, landed on the ground and fixed his gaze on Kokuō.

"Human," growled Kokuō, its eyes burning with anger, "What's the meaning of that contemptuous look?"

With disdain, he replied: "Beast, what's wrong with looking at you with contempt? Look at yourself, you don't even look like a defined animal. You're like a deformed mongrel. How can I not look at you with disdain?"

Hiss!

Steam erupted from Kokuō's body, its fury boiling. "Die!" it roared, launching itself against Chen with its horns, moving at lightning speed.

"Perfect!" Chen smiled. Without Armament Haki or Chakra, relying only on his brute strength, he prepared for the impact.

Boom!

The clash resonated throughout the forest, shaking the earth.

Chen was sent flying, dragging himself for almost a hundred meters before stopping. Kokuō, for its part, was repelled three hundred meters in the opposite direction.

Trees fell crushed under Kokuō's weight as it got back up.

Chen stood up, dusting himself off with a satisfied smile.

He had come out better from the exchange.

Shaking his arm with a defiant smile, he made the air around him vibrate strongly.

"It's the first time someone has made me retreat," he declared with excitement. "You should feel proud."

The air fluctuated violently at Chen's simple movement.

Kokuō was visibly disconcerted. Its confidence, previously unshakeable, began to falter. Not even the Nine-Tails or the Eight-Tails had managed to physically overpower it.

"Let's get a bit more serious," Chen announced, his voice loaded with anticipation. "Haki!"

His body darkened, covered in Armament Haki. His skin and clothes acquired an intimidating metallic sheen.

Zoom!

Using Soru, Chen vanished, instantly reappearing in front of Kokuō.

"Let's see how you handle this! Heaven Cannon!" he roared with his fist, impacting Kokuō's chin with devastating force.

Boom!

Kokuō, despite its colossal size, was sent flying into the sky like a projectile.

Fwoosh!

Chen ascended swiftly, overtaking Kokuō in the air.

Thud!

A brutal kick sent Kokuō back to the ground. But before the beast could touch the earth...

Zip!

Chen teleported underneath, continuing his relentless assault.

The cycle of blows continued, turning Kokuō into a painful echo of Shiten.

The spectacle was surreal.

From a distance, it looked like an ant playing at kicking an elephant.

In the main battlefield, the fight stopped. Everyone looked at the sky, mouth agape.

"Can the tailed beasts contain Hyuga Chen?" Hanzō asked incredulously.

The scene was chaotic: Shukaku beaten by the Susanoo, Son Gokū crushed by a stone colossus, and Kokuō turned into a ping-pong ball.

"Ōnoki, you've crossed the line by using Jinchūriki," Hiruzen accused.

Hiruzen, knowing the destructive power of the tailed beasts, knew that a simple Bijudama could mean total annihilation. Although some beasts might not individually surpass Kage-level ninja, on the battlefield, their lethality was unmatched.

"Hmph," Ōnoki snorted coldly. Words were unnecessary in the face of the spectacle of the three tailed beasts being dominated in a matter of minutes.

Danzo had his eyes narrowed. "This brat is undoubtedly Konoha's downfall."

"For the village's stability, Chen Hyuga must be eliminated." Chen's demonstration of power had sown the seed of fear in him, who saw his ambitions of becoming Hokage threatened.

Whoosh!

Bam!

In the distance, the echo of Chen's blows against the Bijuu resonated.

Jiraiya looked at all this in amazement: "It's madness! Seeing a beast the size of a hill being kicked like a ball... it's monstrous! And I thought Tsunade was violent. As expected from her apprentice."

"Chen is truly unfathomable. Perhaps... he's not even using all his power. Is this a true genius? No, rather, are we witnessing a god?" Orochimaru murmured, licking his lips with an unsettling smile.

Hiruzen observed with deep and inscrutable eyes, his thoughts a mystery even to his old friend Danzo.

Among the common ninja, the appearance of the Bijuu had provoked a mixture of terror and awe. The legends of these beasts as incarnations of disaster and symbols of destruction paled in comparison to the reality they were witnessing.

Each of Chen's impacts against the Bijuu resonated like thunder, defying established beliefs about the power of these creatures.

The perception of the Bijuu was changing before their eyes.

They were no longer seen as terrible and invincible beings, but as almost pitiable creatures, unable to resist the relentless assault of a single individual.
