Kapitel 48: His Fear

That evening, after leaving the office, William hurriedly entered a hospital. Normally, he disliked the smell of bleach mixed with strong medicinal odors, finding it very oppressive. However, this time he paid no attention to it because there was something important he needed to discuss with someone who couldn't be considered very close, but also not distant.

"Ah, you finally came. I only have five minutes left," Clara said somewhat annoyed because tonight she had to accompany the resident doctors on her team for the night shift.

"Sorry. I've been really busy—"

"Just tell me what you need," Clara cut in quickly because William should have realized that she wasn't the only busy one. "That must be something crazy since you choose to ask me over your sister."

William wanted to apologize, but right now he knew that Clara would prefer if he just went along with what she wanted. "Does amnesia really exist? Can it last for a long time?"
