All students looked at one another, then back at Uwah and Erika as Kia walked away.

The group of students were ushered through the double doors and into the hallway beyond.

Erika began with the introductions.

"This is the Hall of Trials. It's a place for you to hone your skills and test your limits. Here, you will have the chance to fight against the creatures that roam the inner halls, as well as other students. You'll be given a certain amount of time to test your skills in battle, and if you pass the trial, then it will allow you to advance to the next stage. Failure to complete the trials may result in failure of the entrance examination, so be prepared.

There is a set number of trials, and only a select few students who are deemed to be strong enough can pass through. The rest must return home, never knowing if it's truly possible to make it to Nexus."
