'No, no, don't mind me,' Evelyn thought, her eyes darting around the room, looking for an exit.

"Ladies, I think she needs some space," Tristan said, his voice softening. "I'm sure she has things to take care of. Why don't you go ahead and get ready for bed? We can talk later."

The twins looked at each other, their faces contorted into expressions of disgust. "Fine," Lily huffed, her lip curling in distaste. "But if she tries anything funny without our permission, we won't hesitate to kill her."

"Of course not, dear," Tristan replied, his voice soothing. "You know me better than that."

The twins nodded, their faces still twisted into scowls as they walked past Evelyn, their gazes burning holes into her.

"Sis... I was thinking," Lyla said, her voice low and husky. "Would it be right to leave our darling Tristan without any company tonight?"

"My word! No," Lily answered, her voice equally sultry. "It's been a long few hours since we've had a good night together."
