That evening, Xue Lin came home exhausted. She took a bath and went to the living room.

She saw a maid and asked her, "Can I have spicy noodles? The dry one."

Ge Chen was watching a TV series. When he saw her almost lying on the couch beside him, he asked, "Had a rough day?"

"No, I just spoke more than I usually do." Xue Lin rubbed her cheeks.

"How was your patient?"

"She was normal. Didn't react to anything I said. Well, that was to be expected. It would be odd if she opened up to me on the first visit. I just have to go there frequently."

Xue Lin paused before looking at him and asked, "What's on your end? Did you find that guy?"

Ge Chen's eyes fixed on the television screen as he replied, "His name is Ah Mo. He went back to school and resumed his daily life. No one knew that he was related to the victim's incident at all."

Xue Lin was surprised. "How come? Didn't they know that they were a couple?"
