Kapitel 40: illusion
Ling Han sat on the tree branch as he began making a draw.

Ling Han frowned as for 30 times in a roll. He only got thanks for trying. Wasn't the chances too low? Should he have high luck?
He had the mirror of Samara, so destiny should turn towards the favor of him. He sighed as he did another roll.

The remaining five rolls came back as nothing. This kind Ling Han sigh, but he had something new to learn and comprehend.
His strength was only at level 1 of the great saint. But he could match those at level 3 King Saint. he had his way to go until he could match those at void shattering realm.
The next day, Ling Han left to enrage a few people. The rage points didn't look at the strength, but just how angry one could get.
Three days later, Ling Han stood at the branch with a dark face.
"This lottery is bullshit. One hundred rolls, and I got nothing." Ling Han almost had smoke coming from his head out of rage.
But he suddenly looked up at the sky as he noticed tribulation clouds were gathering above him. Looking down, he saw Lin Xiaoge had formed her 7th tail.
"it seems with ghe reawakening of her bloodline, so does parts of her cultivation. No wonder it took nine months to go from the Saint realm to level 8 Great Saint isn't easy." Ling Han said lazily
"with her 7th tail, I wonder how many levels she could skip. she should at least be stronger than me." Ling Han said as he looked at the tribulations clouds.
Ling Han currently had a cultivation at level 2 great Saint. with everything he had, he could reach those at level 4 King Saint.
But Lin Xiaoge was at level 8 great saint. With seven tails, it would be a joke if she can't fight those five levels above her cultivation. Plus, she had The Indestructible Heaven Scroll. She should be able to face those at least level 5 King Saint.
Lin Xiaoge slowly awakened as she looked at the sky before looking at her tails. She thought for a moment before she began looking around at the tall grasses.
With a thought, fire surrounded her body, which quickly caught on the grasses. Causing the grasses to move as they attacked her.
But they were burnt to ashes. Lin Xiaoge jumped as the flames got stronger. Roots shot from the ground as they shot towards her, but before her fire. They were all turned to ashes.
Lin Xiaoge snorted slightly as she turned her attention back towards the tribulation.
"is that a heavenly Dao?" Ling Han asked while looking at the destroyed forest. Even he had to step backwards before these flames.
"yes, I can now use my immortal flame." She said happily, which caused Ling Han's eyes to brighten.
"it's not my comprehension, just my bloodline ability. it's like how you just use your bloodline lightning to boost your strength." Lin Xiaoge said as Ling Han nodded in understanding
Lightning shot down towards Lin Xiaoge, but she ignored it as she allowed it to tamper her body.
Her body wasn't as hard as Ling Han's. She was injured by these attacks. But thanks to her bloodline and The Indestructible Heaven Scroll. Her injured healed at such speed one would question if they injured her.
Of course, these injuries were not serious. If they were, she would need a few seconds.
After a few minutes, Lin Xiaoge had finished her tribulation and transformed into her human form.
"since you can use your flames, does that mean your mother can sense you?" Ling Han asked with a slight frown
"no, I made that she couldn't sense it, or else she would have already been here." Lin Xiaoge said with a smile.
"so you want to stay back with me?" Ling Han asked with a smile
"w-what are you saying. I only want to stay back so I can gain experience and reach new highest." Lin Xiaoge said with a slight snort as she looked away.
"oh, so you are leaving." Ling Han asked,

Ling Han seeing the rage points he just got, smiled slightly as he continued.
"sigh, since you want to gain experience, you most want to leave me behind." Ling Han said in a soft tone
Lin Xiaoge glared at Ling Han. Just when did he become so stupid. Can't he tell she was staying behind to start with him?

Ling Han's smile grew seeing these rage points. Although it was much easier to enrage a group, it was much more fun to see Lin Xiaoge rage grow.
"y-you." Lin Xiaoge seeing Ling Han's smile, jumped on Ling Han with fist flying.
Ling Han quickly stepped to the side, but Lin Xiaoge stepped in the air changing her direction. Sending a fist towards Ling Han quickly covered his self in lightning armor.
While at the same time, he punched out. Their fist connected, sending a shock wave that destroyed the trees and even the ground around them.
Ling Han took a few steps backward as he looked at Lin Xiaoge with a smile.
"your physique also improved," Ling Han said, feeling the slight pain in his fist.
"of course, and it would only improve once I awaken my remaining tails." She said pridefully
"you only at level 8, and I'm at level 2. the fact you can't one-shot me should be something to be proud about." Ling Han said in a low voice
*successfully enraged Lin Xiaoge, received 673 rage points.*
'damn, I can't turn this thing off.' Ling Han thought as he looked at Lin Xiaoge, who was gritting her teeth in rage.
"you have seen nothing." She said through gritted teeth as she rushed forward. She sent a fist towards Ling Han, and Ling Han quickly did the same.
But to Ling Han's shock, his fist went through her as if he punched an illusion. Lin Xiaoge body slowly disappeared, while Ling Han suddenly lowered his body.
In time to dodge Lin Xiaoge, who sent a punch towards him from behind.
He quickly jumped away as he looked at her in confusion.
"for some reason, I can use parts of the nine tails abilities. for now, it's only illusions, but it should be enough to deal with you." She said with a smile as over 20 of Lin Xiaoge appeared around the forest, as they all rushed towards Ling Han.
"you not the only one who has comprehend the Dao of illusion." Ling Han said as he made three lightning clones that shot out.
These 3 clones which began making simple illusion as more as 8 more Ling Hans appeared.
"haha, is that all. I can make 20 illusions of myself." Lin Xiaoge said as all of her illusions gathered, as they took the form of a gain 9 tail fox.
"The fuck kind of cheat is this." Ling Han said in shock
"haha, my father was able to make turn his imagination into reality. He had reached a level where he had surprised the limits of his bloodline." Lin Xiaoge said pridefully as she appeared next to Ling Han clone.
"and I can easily see through your illusion. do..." Lin Xiaoge suddenly stopped talking as her noise moved slightly.
She looked towards another of Ling Han clones, then remaining.
"by all means, please continue." Ling Han said with a smile as he looked at the disbelief in Lin Xiaoge eyes.
"improbable. Why is your illusion real? No, you must have reached the 3rd level of the Grand Dao of illusion. This must be in my head." She said with a shake of her head
"sigh, so you are saying. I a person without the 9 tail fox bloodline has beaten you who have the 9 tail fox bloodline? why was I gifted with such high talent." Ling Han asked with a helpless sigh

Ling Han frowned at these rage points. They were way too little.
"... a clone technique. that most be it, I actually almost failed for your tricks." She said with a snort,
"so you know of cloning technique?" Ling Han asked with a smile
"Yeah, what's so special about them? they are the most stupidest thing one could learn." She said coldly
"oh really? or is it because you can't learn one?" Ling Han asked with a smile

Lin Xiaoge took a deep breath to calm herself down before continuing
"a person who has comprehended the Dao of Karma can easily kill you through your clones. unless you break the karma which holds your clone and yourself together, you will die once your clone is killed." She said calmly
Ling Han nodded slightly as he pictured a scene of himself created millions of clones. Just for a guy to some around infusing the Dao of karma into his sword and killing one of his clones.
And with that, he lost his with life.
