"Take all the logs you can find around the place. Be quick."
After giving his command to his soldiers, Lemiel went back to the room where Davi and Sienna were. The young boy remained sitting by his mother's side, unmoving.
"Does she often get sick like this?" Lemiel asked his son. He wondered if it was the cold weather, but he thought it couldn't be that. Sienna lived with Davi in that barren and cold village at Thefadore, which meant the cold wasn't an issue.
"No," answered Davi in a bleak tone.
"I checked the food, there's nothing toxic in it."
Lemiel checked Sienna's temperature again by touching her forehead with the back of his hand. He felt her hot skin, and his face remained still. He then checked her pulse.
Lemiel gave his son a reassuring look.
