Kapitel 15: Chapter 14

Veronica's POV

I quickly push away from Daniel and stand up, feeling very awkward and confused about what to do. I face Daniel's mom who is the female replica of Daniel and try explaining but the only sound that comes out of my mouth is that of a dying whale. And I'm not even sure I know what that sounds like! Oh God save me now.

I turn to look at Daniel hoping he would help me out here. But no! He's smiling like there is absolutely nothing wrong with his mom finding us on the couch almost making out.

Next thing I know she bursts into tears and turns into a blubbering mess. " w...w..why Daniel? " sniff " what'd I ever do to you? " she asks wiping her eyes. " I've held it in, tolerated all those little brats you brought into my house but I warned you. " she says getting mad all of a sudden and God the look on her face put the fear of God in me.

I think I'm visibly shaking.
