Lin Ye walked over and checked Lin Mufan's vitals. He was stable but he had to wake up soon in order to determine whether the surgery was a success or if there were any complications. The room was calm and serene, the gentle beep of the monitoring machines creating a soothing rhythm. Lin Qiao took one look at his father who was very pale. He sighed, "It was them, right?" Lin Ye did not answer but her silence was a form of agreement. Lin Qiao had once asked her to go back to the old mansion and all of this was just so she could take a look at Lin Mufan. Lin Qiao knew that his brother and his sister-in-law were pressuring Lin Mufan but he did not think they would go to the extent of poisoning Lin Mufan.
Lin Ye's eyes were filled with a mixture of emotions as she looked at Lin Qiao. It was true, the suspicion fell on Lin Qian and Cheng Ana, but without concrete evidence, she didn't want to jump to conclusions.
