Upon hearing Joshua Mamet's question, George Flack was already considering whether he could back out or maybe just hang up the phone, pretending he dialed the wrong number.

However, George knew that doing so wouldn't solve the problem, so he had no intention of hanging up. Instead, he directly asked Joshua.

"I didn't dial the wrong number, I meant to call you. I just want to know if Aria Grant is with you?" George's voice was particularly soft when he asked, fearing Joshua would hear it, but also worried he wouldn't.

Joshua glanced at the time; it was already late. Was George calling him about this because the two of them had another fight?

Joshua asked angrily, "Explain yourself. What's wrong with Aria Grant? Is she not with you? Did you two have another fight?"

When Joshua said "another," he gritted his teeth. He didn't understand what was happening between George and Aria, but it seemed like they were always either fighting or on the verge of it.
