**ADDIE'S POV**

Callum and Nolan made a big deal about choosing the right staff for me, vetting them all and making sure that they were the right people for the job. I understood that, I really did. What I didn't understand though, was that they were not sent to me right away. Not all of them anyway. And what was more, I had to stay at my apartment for the next few days while the men and women that I had accepted as my guards were trained by Hunter and Orson.

The new staff was being trained as well. Well, most of them. The chefs were already working for me. They had only needed slight lessons on etiquette before they were allowed to work for me. This was most likely due to the fact that they wouldn't be working with me directly, not really. It would be Violet, Nithi, Nishi, and the others that were going to be dealing with them more often than not. They would only see me from time to time, and that would be very rare.
