Kapitel 72: I Will Stay

I am standing next to this extremely handsome man lying in the bed with a wet towel on his forehead. He has a fever because of the pain he is going through and I know that the drugs that I gave him will only kick in after about twenty minutes. I know that he must be extremely uncomfortable because of the pain.

I can see his shirt is wet from the sweat and I know that I need to get him cooled down. I can see that he is in and out of consciousness.

"Captain, we need to take off your shirt. We need to get you cooled down"

I do not know if he is registering what I am telling him but I see him nodding with his eyes still closed. I know it is very difficult for him to move because of the pain and so I help him to take off his shirt.

Suddenly I do not know if that was such a good idea because his body is consuming my thoughts which makes my work so much more difficult. I can see that with every movement of his arms the pain is excruciating.
