Alex had been spending most of his time with the queen, getting to know her and enjoying her company. As he looked back on his time in the castle, he realized that three years had already passed since he first arrived. However, as time went on, the queen began to disappear from the castle more and more often. When he asked one of the servants where she had gone, they explained that the demons were attacking from the north and that the king had left for the battlefield, with the queen accompanying him. Alex couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy as he heard this. He knew that it was silly, but he couldn't help but wonder why the queen was always by the king's side and not his own. As he watched the days pass by, he couldn't shake the feeling of envy that had settled in his heart.
Alex found himself alone once again, just as he had been in his previous life. However, this time it was even worse, as he was living in a world where there were no laws and royalty were treated like gods. As a commoner living in a society of royals, he was treated poorly, and he had no protector as the queen was absent. One day, a group of royalty children, including a young princess, surrounded Alex and began using water magic to taunt him. Though he was angry, he knew he could not retaliate, as it was a deadly crime for a commoner to touch royalty. His anger continued to build, and then one of the children grabbed a real sword and attacked him. Alex was able to dodge the attack using his mana, but he knew that if he dodged an attack filled with mana, it would be clear to everyone that he was suppressing his mana. He didn't want to use his full power in front of the royalty, as it would bring too much attention to himself, but he was running out of options.
Amid Alex's attempt to release his mana, a sudden gust of wind blows, and the force of the wind is so strong that it causes the royalty's ceremonial sword to fly out of their hand and strike the ground with a loud clang. The impact echoes across the courtyard, causing everyone to look up and see Alex standing there, his eyes glowing with otherworldly power.
Suddenly, a deafening shout pierces through the air, and everyone turns to see the first princess standing in front of Alex, her arms outstretched and her eyes blazing with righteous fury. "You all call yourselves royalty while you bully a weak boy!" she cries out. The second princess, who had been standing nearby with a smirk on her face, suddenly turns pale and stammers out an apology before running away.
As the commotion dies down, Alex turns to see the girl who had just saved him. It is the first princess herself, and she offers him a small smile as she explains that she had been watching from a distance and couldn't stand to see the bullying any longer. She apologizes on behalf of her little sister and promises to make things right.
- To be continued
(The next chapter is a side story that tells about the struggle of the first princess.)
