Kapitel 80: Trying to act like a husband

I watched him as he slept.

Getting to know Lee in the past few days pointed out the fact that I might have hated him for no reason at all.

I mean, there is no way he could have married me for my money. Neither does it look like he's the type to take advantage of a situation.

The Lee I thought I knew, and the one I've got to know, are two different people. It seems I've wasted the full year we would have made use of, for something productive, based on something I heard.

And now, I know I should have talked things out with him.

Had I done that, I don't think there would have been any misunderstanding between us.

I lightly caressed Lee's hair. It was soft and soothing to the touch. And it made me eager to run my hand on it.

Lee stirred, and I guiltily removed my hand from his hair and placed them on my thighs.

Okay, so, I was almost caught in the act. Thankfully, he didn't wake up.
