Bang.
Leo's body shot forward like a spear as he tossed a hand forward only to catch the air.
Swoosh.
Leo retracted his head slightly and an uppercut brushed past his chin.
Thud.
Leo quickly adjusted his stance as he threw three fast jabs, but his punches only met the air as Damian dodged skillfully and retreated.
"Ooh?" Leo was genuinely surprised by the man's quick movements.
Judging based on his footwork and head movement, Leo accurately concluded this man was an amateur boxer at some point in his life. He was quick on his toes and his head was never in one spot. His punches always came from a person's blind spot.
What made this even more dangerous was Damian's impeccable timing.
"Now I understand why Dominic lost to you. Who would have thought a boxer would run a gang? Since I haven't seen you out there, I'm guessing you are not really that famous." Leo sneered leaving the man with a frown, but he didn't let his emotions get the best of him.
"I practice during my free time. I have never fought; professionally, I guess." Damian chuckled while adding the last part.
His body bounced around swaying from side to side in a disorderly rhythm, making it hard to predict his next move.
"You must have a lot of free time. Unfortunately, I don't share the same privileges, so I will end this as quickly as possible." Leo said with a cold smile on his face.
Bang.
The ground beneath his feet shattered as Leo charged forward with full power. His body was like a beam cutting through the wind.
Boom!
Damian narrowly moved his head out of the way only to be assaulted by a deafening explosion sound created by Leo's fist.
'Just what sort of strength does this guy have?' Damian cried out in his mind but his legs were already wobbly.
Somehow the deafening sound was more than enough to throw him off balance.
Swoosh.
Leo's leg swung forward like an ax, tearing forward as it slammed into Damian's unguarded belly, sending him spiraling back like a rag doll.
He smashed into his goons cushioning his fall but even then, Damian spat out a mouthful of blood. His breathing had become heavy and his vision blurry.
Damian looked at the figure of the old man and muttered the only word that came to his mind.
"Monster."
"Haaaaaaaa."
Damian's goons quickly unloaded their clip on Leo with fury upon seeing the condition of their boss. Bullet shells rained down as the group unleashed all they could on the old monster.
Ratatatata.
Leo stood like an immovable mountain as the bullets always met the aura wall, preventing them from penetrating. Members of the Underworld standing behind him cried out in joy and excitement while watching their mysterious leader perform wonders.
[-150 DE]
Leo frowned at the accumulated number of Demonic energy spent in his battle yet he failed to kill this man. For each bullet blocked, he lost one point of his demonic energy, imagine taking enough bullets to take out a sizable number of people. He didn't need someone to tell him, he needed to end this now.
"Haaaa!" Leo threw an open palm forward and his energy rolled forward, smashing into the goons.
Bang.
Dominic's eyes widened in shock as he saw a small group of heavily armed men sent flying away like they weighed nothing.
"There are things you can't dream of defending against. I am one of them." Leo sneered as he watched these men groan in pain. They were all conscious but none dared to pick up their weapon, except Damian who was already on his feet, fishing out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket.
"Oh?" Leo looked at this man with a hint of interest in his eyes.
Even after seeing what he was capable of, this man still dared stand and act like nothing really happened between them. Normal people would be terrified by now, but this man seemed to accept the fact that he was capable of something humans shouldn't be able to do.
Leo couldn't help but wonder if the drugs were the source of his courage or if there was a special kind of weapon he was unaware of.
"So what if you can do a little witchcraft? Do you think that makes you invincible?" Damian said as he took off his red coat and began rolling his sleeves.
"The spiritual controls the physical. Don't tell me you haven't heard of that before?" Leo asked with a raised eyebrow.
"The spiritual controls the weak. I, Damian Crimson have never been weak." Damian sneered as he clapped his hands, and sounds of people racing towards the entrance of the building could be heard.
Roar.
Leo's visage turned cruel as his body charged forward like a rocket with demonic energy exploding from his body while he let out an inhumane cry.
---
The moon hung high as thunder crackled through the wind, sending waves across the world while a heavy downpour left the streets deserted.
Around what looked like an abandoned warehouse, numerous Jeeps, vans, and trucks could be seen. Armed goons dressed in wine red were littered across the vicinity, patiently waiting for their boss to complete the takeover of this new drug cartel.
Roar.
Boom.
The sound of the factory doors bursting open was drowned in the inhumane cry. Several figures could be seen flying out of the building as if an explosion had taken place.
"Boss!"
These men were flabbergasted by what just happened. They ran over to Damian whose lips were dyed red with blood. He looked toward the warehouse with murderous intentions in his eyes as he gave the order
"Shoot! Shoot now!"
Ratatatata.
Without hesitation these men unloaded an entire round into the warehouse, leaving the mighty once-mighty building riddled with holes.
"What are you doing? Why did you stop? Keep shooting dammit!" Damian rose to his feet and staggered while barking like an injured dog.
His men on the other hand were confused. After shooting for so long and no one returned fire, they believed everyone in the room must be dead, so why do they need to keep shooting?
"You should listen to him." A cold yet feeble voice rang like a bell from within the warehouse.
From the darkness, a lone figure emerged with a look of indifference in his eyes. He gazed at these armed men with an amused look on his face. It made them take a second look at their weapons, wondering if they were given toy guns.
"But then again, we all know that will be a waste of time and resources." Leo said with a light chuckle.
