Lara took a step forward, her eyes fixed on Leo. "I can have the Night Wolf get to work," she said confidently. "If you're ready to start moving in search of the artifact, that is."

Leo's initial response was not what she expected. He seemed distracted, his gaze drifting beyond her into the endless darkness that surrounded them. She wasn't sure what was on his mind, but she patiently waited for his response.

Suddenly, he squinted, and without warning, Leo stepped forward and enveloped her in a hug. Lara was taken aback, her cheeks turning a deep shade of red as the unexpected embrace caught her by surprise. His shadow seemed to curl around them like a protective sphere, adding an even more surreal quality to the moment.
