Kapitel 1: Chapter 1
From the second world a light shone through the air. The young looking girl sat there.
Elaine was in the second world watch over her brother and her lover once again, seeing them at each other's throats, as she always did and had done for a very long time, she let out a soft sigh, her shoulders softened and her eyes upset.
"The two of them need to stop fighting. This is not what I wanted. This is not what I wished for. This is not what was ever supposed to happen. I wanted them both to protect and care for each other. To help each other through the hard times now that I'm not around and haven't been for a long time. I did not want them to hate each other. That was never what was supposed to happen to them..." She sighed again as she looked down.
She then mumbled something in an unknown cursive language and the sky turned dark. A dark black mixed with deep shades of purple.
As she then looked up she heard people screaming in the back ground behind her. Running away and hiding in the closest hiding places the could all find.
"Princess Elaine! The devil is coming for new souls! You need to hide!" One of the past fairies said and Elaine shook her head and didn't move. Her feet stayed planted to the ground.
"I know the devil is coming. I called for him." She spoke softly and the guards eyes widened before he saw a dark figure slowly approaching and he ran away as fast as he could and to the closest hiding spot he could reach.
Elaine just stayed sitting as she watched the two boys still at each other's throats on the world she gazed upon below.
"Princess Elaine. You called for me." A deep and low voice spoke and she nodded but didn't face him quite yet.
"I'd like to offer up half of my royal fairy soul for a wish." She spoke and the demon raised his eyebrow before smirking.
"Oh really? If this is true then we have a deal princess. Now what is your wish?" He asks her and she points to the two boys the viewing pond was gazing upon.
"I want my brother and my lover to care for each other. See each other in a new light and stop hating each other for my death. I want them to be happy and hating each other will just make it worse. So. I wish for you to make them see each other in a new light." She spoke and the the devil smirked.
There were many ways to make this situation worse for the better and he nodded.
He would make the two boys lovers and watch as the fairy crumbled to pieces and became dark. They'd forget about her. Only care for each other. He'd twist the wish as he always had done. And he'd have a fairy princess in his realm instead of in the heavenly one.
"We have a deal princess Elaine." He spoke deeply and huskily before shooting two red lasers into the viewing pond.
Elaine then stood up and looked at the demon before smiling.
The devil smirked and held out his hand, twisting it as half of the fairy soul was sucked out of her.
He then smirked. "Lovely doing business with you princess." He spoke as he fell to the ground.
"They will see each other in a new light right?" She asks and the devil nods.
"Deals with the devil for desire will always come true." He spoke before disappearing as the sky turned white again and everyone came out of hiding.
The fairy who she was talking to them walked over to her.
"Elaine. Making a deal with him was foolish. But he's right. If you sell your soul to the devil for desire it's full proof. So they will indeed see each other in a new light but knowing the devil, it may not be one you'll like princess." He said and Elaine smiled.
"As long as they see each other in a caring light, I don't care what light it is they see each other in." She says softly and the guard sighs but nods.
"If you're sure princess." He says with a sigh.
In the first world that could be seen through the pond is where we venture next.
Ban and King were at it again. At it again like they always were and had been for many many many years now.
Fighting and arguing like they always have done and they were already to the point where chastiful was right through Ban's chest.
Meliodas let out an annoyed huff and walked over to the both of them. Anger bursting from him. "You two! Stop fighting this instant and get to work!" He yelled at the two with a glare before crossing his arms.
"We aren't fi-" The two then stopped mid sentence as they both felt and electric shock go through them.
They then blinked before saying softly. "Ting."
King then pulled chastiful out of Ban and rubbed the back of his neck as he flew up in the air.
"Sorry." He mumbled before flying off.
At this Ban has heard the apology and his eyes widened as he looked at king before looking away his heart fluttering at his apology.
'What the fuck?!' He though to himself as he tried to calm his fast beating heart. This had never happened before. He had never felt like this before. And king had never apologised to him before. What the hell was going on.
A little while later I'm the first world where Ban and King were.
After a while the boys began working in the tavern.
Ban cooking the food as usual and King waiting tables.
As King was serving a group of boys started to wolf whistle at him which caused king to roll his eyes.
This situation would usually make Ban laugh at him getting hit on by guys because King looked rather girly, but this time was different.
He felt angry and jealous. He wanted to kill these fuckers who were wolf whistling him.
So this time instead of laughing he glared at the group. It was a wolf stare that could kill and one of the boys caught Ban's stare and shivered, the others catching it shortly after and doing the same.
When King came over the boys all looked away from him.
"We're sorry for hitting on you. We did it as a joke. In all honesty we didn't know you had a boyfriend so you know, keep your scary guard dog privileges and and tell him that we're sorry because we really don't wanna die today!" One of the boys said before they all stood up and left the tavern. Not risking any chances.
At that whole situation King was confused.
A boyfriend? He didn't have one of those? He was sure he was straight. Although he'd love for Ban to be his boyfriend.
He thought as he imagined it then shook his head.
'What?! I don't want that! No no no! You hate him! Remember?!' He thought to himself before looking over at Ban to see him chatting to Hawk while cooking and King shrugged.
He had no idea what those men were on about but at least they apologised.
King then brought the plates over to the sink and Ban just looked at him and smiled before shaking his head.
"Hey Ban. The strangest thing just happened. Those boys apologised for hitting on me because they thought I had a boyfriend and some scary guard dog privileges or something? It was so confusing!" He said and Ban quickly looked away and blushed.
'They thought I was King's boyfriend? Well... I don't think I'd mind that. Wait. No no no! You're in love with his sister remember! And you two hate each other. Don't we...? I don't know anymore it's so confusing.'
He thought before sighing then looking at king and chuckling to continue the conversation.
"They probably saw Meliodas eying Elizabeth and thought he was eying you." He said and King nodded as it made sense.
"Yeah you're probably right." He said before putting the washed dishes on the draining board and calling his pillow over.
"I'm taking my break now." King said and Ban just nodded and watched him fly off.
Watching him how? Well king was laying on his stomach on his pillow and Ban couldn't help but eye the smallers ass, seeing at how plump it was his heart started to beat and he looked away and shook his head.
'Not what you should be thinking you idiot!' He thought to himself as Gowther walked over.
"Ban your heart rate increased when king was leaving? Why is that?" He asked and Ban rolled his eyes.
"None of your damn business Gowther. Go and analyse someone else." He said but Gowther didn't move.
"I already have been. And everything has been unusual recently. Both yours and kings heart rates have been increasing today when you're around each other. Diane's and Elizabeth's have been racing when they are with each other and Meliodas' heart no longer races when around Elizabeth but when around me. That girl who says she's obsessed with you and loves you, well her heart rate increases around Merlin and Hawk's increases around your food. What does that mean?" He asks and Ban rolls his eyes.
"I don't know and I don't care. Go and ask one of the others instead Gowther. And stop analysing me. It's none of your business who my heart rate increases around. Go and pester the captain about his increasing around you jeez." He rolls his eyes and Gowther nods before walking to Meliodas and asking him questions.
As Ban was cooking a little while later while he was chopping vegetables he accidentally sliced the arm off his shirt and he sighed.
"Well there goes another." He says before pausing and pulling it off.
As he did king had just finished his break and flew back down on his pillow to stop when he saw Ban removing his red jacket and king just watched.
He didn't know why but he couldn't look away.
Once his shirt was off ban put the food on plates and his bare chest was completely on show rather than only a little bit of it and it caused king to drool slightly.
He then quickly shook his head, blushed and looked away.
A little while later in the second world Elaine was back at the viewing pond and she smiled as she saw the two boys finally getting along.
Well not really but it was a start!
They were apologising to each other and not fighting and that made her happy, but she wasn't realising the small things just yet.
Not like her guard fairy had.
He flew over to his friends and sighed.
"She doesn't realise what she's done. She sold half her soul for the two boys to see each other in a new light but guys. It's gonna break her at what he's doing." The fairy said and his friend tilted her head.
"What do you mean?" She asked and the fairy sighed.
"The devil is making the two boys fall in love with each other but she can't see the small things, like the side glances, the body stares, the protectiveness. She can't see any of it. She's just happy they're talking." He says with a sigh and his friend sighs too.
Elaine just smiles as she looks at the two boys. "I'm glad you're both finally getting along." She says with a soft smile
It was night in the second world and it was now time for the tavern to close and ban was shocked, he had now just realised he'd been too busy watching king and hadn't had a drop of alcohol all day.
When everywhere had been cleaned Meliodas walked over with an eyebrow raised.
"Ban? Are you hiding your alcohol bottles today?" He asks confused and Ban chuckles and shakes his head.
"I didn't tell you did I? I'm trying to do a Sober September. I haven't had any." He says with a smirk and this catches the attention of everyone.
"You haven't had, any?" Diane asks and Ban rolls his eyes.
"Not one drop." He says and Merlin freezes some of his breath before catching it and analysing it.
"He actually hasn't had any guys. He's telling the truth." She says and everyone's eyes widen.
Ban just rolls his eyes.
"Thanks for not believe me pricks." He says before going up the stairs and to his room, slamming the door behind him.
Everyone looks down and sighs.
"He really took it to heart that we didn't believe him didn't he?" Elizabeth asks and everyone nods.
Ban then grabs a new jacket, puts it on and opens the window, climbing out and onto the roof to do some stargazing. Something he'd always do when he was stressed or depressed.
"Hey Elaine. I don't know what you've done but I know you've done something. But I'm worried that whatever you've done you're not gonna like it... yet if it was you that has done this please give me a sign." He says and shortly after a whirlwind of leaves start up next to him out of no where before dropping to the ground.
He nods and sighs. "Okay then. If this is what you want then I'll let it run it's course Elaine. But if I let it happen there's no backing out..." He says before looking up to the sky not noticing that someone had joined him and heard the conversation.
King then flew over on his pillow and laid next to Ban.
"Hey I heard you talking to Elaine. Did she answer again?" King asks and Ban sighs but nods.
"Whirlwind of leaves. Listen King. What she's done. I know it's got something to do with the two of us. I think she wants us to get along and for her sake I want it to but something makes me think that to get this she did something terrible and it's not gonna work out the way she wants but King. If we let what ever has been planned happen. We can't go back, even if it's not what she wanted. So now I'm worried." He says softly and king nods.
"I know. I know. It's been happening to me to.. and I got given Gowther's analysis too... and I'm just as worried but whatever is going on, she's done it. So we should let it happen." He says and Ban sighs but nods.
King then just smiles softly before making his chastiful a larger size and he pats beside him.
Ban's eyes widen but they soon turn into a smile and he nods and lays next to him.
"I love the stars..." King says and Ban smiles.
"So do I... living rough as a child sleeping under the stars was the only thing that would give me comfort at the bad times." He says softly and king smiles weakly.
"It was always the only thing that gave me comfort when I left the fairy kingdom to see the world..." He says softly and the two just look to the sky for the rest of the time in silence before drifting off to sleep.
