Kapitel 32: Thirty-Second

After Emily finished eating and drinking all of the food and beverages available at the feast table, she glanced towards Merwyn anxiously and asked: "I have a request...Can I leave? I would like to explore this world..."

Her voice trailed off slightly towards the end of her statement due to the fact that the moment she requested permission to exit the banquet hall, all eyes fell upon her instantly.

The fae might have been small, but it was intimidating having them all stare at her like that.

Merwyn chuckled. His voice was light, and his laughter had an almost tinkling quality, like little bells jingling as he laughed. "Leave? Why would you leave?" His voice held genuine curiosity.

"Well, um..." Emily hesitated nervously, lowering her head slightly before speaking again,

"I mean...if you let me explore this world...I can bring back tales for you. Or maybe presents...maybe I'll be able to bring back something nice...!"
