The next day, Adrien woke her gently.
He brushed a strand of hair out of her face and leaned down to press a soft kiss to her forehead.
"Good morning, Lady Emily," He whispered warmly.
Emily blinked blearily up at him with unfocused eyes.
"....Eh...? ...Mhmmm...morning...uhn...can I have more sleep??" She whined, rolling over in the bed.
Adrien laughed softly, running his fingers through her hair in a soothing manner. "You certainly can if you'd like..." He murmured.
She closed her eyes and curled back up under the covers, snuggling deeper into the blankets.
After a while she rolled over and peered out of her nest.
"...Breakfast?" She suggested hopefully, sleepily.
Adrien chuckled quietly. "Yes, breakfast is waiting for you downstairs."
She smiled shyly at Adrien and stretched, squinting into the bright sunlight pouring in through the window.
"What time is it?"
"About eight," He responded softly.
