As the prince shared this story, she sipped delicately on a glass of red wine.

How delicious, She thought absently as the alcohol warmed her body and soothed her nerves.

It didn't taste quite as good as the fae food in the tower, but while it would be tacky to say she'd gotten bored of food tasting perfect, it was also a change of pace.

She sighed happily and listened to Adrien's story, interrupting only when relevant, even as she tucked into some rich chicken with mushroom sauce, potatoes and freshly baked bread with honey butter.

She leaned her cheek on her palm and she watched the prince.

His eyes sparkled, his expression was animated.

He was quite into the story.

And her memory hadn't been lying to her in the tower.

Adrien really was beautiful.
